How did you learn to practice your coordination on all of your fingers? I’ve been playing for 1-2 years now, I’m still a beginner but I’m decent at playing. Im only good with 3 fingers kind of, can do slashy stuff. My pinky and ring finger is not great.

I found you looking up Buckethead licks recently. The video was from 9-10 years ago, but was a great 2 minute Paul Gilbert-esque breakdown of a simple lick. When I first learned guitar, I really wasn't into shred or 80's metal stuff - I was actually into that when I was a little kid, not a teenager. So I never really developed or thought about my right hand. I mostly alternate pick, but I think I sweep here and there, but not intentionally like an economy or directional picker would. (I can also sweep pick intentionally). I'm fairly old, what would you recommend for someone who knows the fretboard really well but can't seem to get his right hand to keep up sometimes? Don't get me wrong, I can play some easier Van Halen solos, some Buckethead stuff, etc. So I'm not super slow, but I'd love to get to where you were 10 years ago. I started playing when I was 15 or so and I'm in my 40's now. Awesome to see you with a Tele, I recently bought a cheap one because the neck had a flat radius and I love it.
