if you like the md series you should try out the smart amps i have 2 of the smart 5ks and there wired to 2 ohms and they absolutely slap my 4 sundown xv2 15s around

in my younger adult life I was in to subwoofers and amps. Around the same time I learned how to do electronic repair. At the time I owned a small hatch back car. I had four 12 inch speakers in hatch area with an amp attached to the rear seat in the hatch area of course. When playing music the rear view mirror and side mirror was 100% useless. One night went to a fast food place and used the drive-thru. I was playing music and had the car thumping very hard few workers stuck their heads out of the drive-thru window and looked at me. I out grown the whole subwoofer + amp phase and ended up selling it all off long time ago. I'm getting up there in age so my taste of music goes more on the country side now.

you just killed the value of that truck by thousands for a speaker box wtf love my system but I will give up a seat before I cut the truck apart just like a lift kit where you have to cut the crossmember if you ever plan to sell DON'T cut anything unless you have enough money to burn because a $40,000 truck with bed cut or crossmember is now worth $20k I will never give away 20k for speakers or lift but nice job should use screws though just my pref.

He "doesn't believe in dampening". We don't need no stinking sound deadner. 😂 I never understood that. I'm 51, I've been doing this for over 35 years and I've always done everything I could to stop all that rattling noise. I prefer my bass inside my vehicle. My current build is in a lil Chevy Cobalt. 2 15 trunk build on 5k and I constantly get compliments on how clean my shit sounds. It takes a lot of work and a lot of cash to get my builds this way but it's worth it. My trunk barely moves. If you want it loud and windy, you need to have the least amount of flex possible. Guys that rate their builds by how much their trunk flexes crack me up. That's a waste of bass. I love floating shirts and doing crazy hair tricks. #noflex
