I totally AGREE! With you:). Then I got to thinking …… there are so many people in our modern world that don’t or won’t ever challenge themselves to do anything difficult or uncomfortable. The horse/cowboy world I come from the only barriers I have are the ones I put on myself. I loved the message and content of his documentary. There is so much to learn and experience and fo me personally coming from a crappy childhood ….. horses have always been my soul animal. They make me accountable to myself to be a better human. Perhaps those that did not like this were just a tick out of their league in comprehending challenges. That’s okay. MORE for those of us who are not afraid to live life to its fullest!

This touched my soul. I love my horse more than anything on earth. I understand the love and dedication these men have for horses. My horse saved me. He is my purpose. This is a transformational documentary. A true love story.
My grandfather was a lighthouse keeper and I always wondered what his life was like. This is probably pretty close.

Well five years later they are still terrifying them by chasing them down with helicopters and there’s been tons of abuse and tons of injuries and starved horses held in pens. These pens are crowded and are a breeding ground for disease. These were wild animals and nothing about this is anything but losing their freedom. They had strong family units that were split up and separated. I hate the way they have been removed from the land because I know that it’s just because ranchers don’t want to share the grazing land with them, which seems kinda selfish.

BLM is so corrupt everything you hear and see about BLM is all lies. They are sending these horses to Mexican meat markets. This has been proved over and over. The claim that the number is overgrazing is also a lie. This is a business the government taxes right off and a business for profit. One think I have learned by do ing honest research into BLM is it is all a scam and lie. It looks great on the outside but is corrupt as hell on the inside. The horse is incredibly abused as well the ones that don't make it to the meat market are horribly abused, Yes there are a few that make it to rescues and people adopt but that is only like 4% of all the horse takes from these lands. Everything I just said is true and real. If you don't belive it, then do your own research and you will find it for yourself.

Horses don't need humans to be complete. The cowboy life is now just an infantile outlet for men to dress up and pretend they have careers. They think they're preserving a way of life, but they're just prolonging an extinct hobby that manipulates animals for profit. Some of these man boys just like the cute outfits. Some like to feel superior over the creatures. Some are just holding on to a fantasy. Come on dudes, grow up already.
