In our opinion, the ZeroWater 10-Cup Ready-Pour is a solid water filter pitcher. Most importantly, it has some NSF certifications and it achieved some of the best results in our lab testing. However, third-party testing showed that the ZeroWater may not be very effective against disinfection byproducts (DBPs). Our lab report also showed increased copper levels. Finally, TDS is not a good measurement for water quality.
Who Should Buy the ZeroWater Pitcher?
We only recommend the ZeroWater 10-Cup Ready-Pour Water Filter Pitcher to people with low levels of DBPs. We also recommend it if your #1 priority is nitrate reduction. The pitcher might also be the best for fluoride reduction.

lol no such thing as " cancer causing" we are cancer, and born with thousands of cancer cells. its a matter of having inflammatory issues in your body and or toxins, and R/0 is the best to drink, you should be getting your minerals from from fruits and veggies not water

The pre-filter and the VOC filter both contain activated charcoal derived from coconut shells. I'm assuming it's the same with the mineral filter, but the website only says that it's "made up of a proprietary blend of our activated carbon", so I'm not 100% sure.

Alexa I really wanted to buy that water drop a1 till you found out about that cancer causing substance you found in your testing . Today is August 4 has water drop yet said they would do something to prevent that cancer causing substance in the future and if so when will it be safe if ever. Thank you, Rob H. What countertop RO system is safe and makes pure water. Cost is not an issue. For obvious reasons I’m looking for the best I can find.
Hi Rob, Waterdrop told us that they've made some improvements to the A1 to resolve the issue and so the system is back on the market (we haven't had the chance to re-test it yet). We will post an update about this soon. As for which other countertop RO we recommend, check our big comparison video!

This filter does not affect water hardness at all. You need a water softener for that!
It seems a lot of filters add stuff after filtered to water.."not good" stuff

Before was 7.66 and after was 7.61 (according to lab reports). But pH doesn't matter with RO water - it's alkalinity that matters.

I’m trying to find something to filter water so that it is distilled or close to it. I want the water to have as little tds as possible as I am not using it for drinking. Is this a good option for that? Thanks.
Why not use a water distiller?

We haven't tested any water distillers yet. There are plenty on Amazon. If I remember correctly, the Megahome used to be really popular. It uses around 3-3.5 kWh per gallon.

Unfiltered was 7.86, and filtered water was 6.94 (according to lab reports). But pH doesn't matter with RO water. It's alkalinity that matters.

Flush mode is all of the water - filtered and waste water. I wouldn’t choose the flush option to fill a drink bottle.
Actually, no. I know that this is what it sounds like, but the official product manual says this in the chapter "Dispensing Purified Water", quote: Push the "Flushing" button; purified water will start to flow from the outlet until the 0.45-gallons internal pure water reservoir empties. To manually stop dispensing water, push any other button. End of quote.

Actually, I don't think that the ZeroWater is a failure, but it does have its flaws.

Appreciate the offer! Considering that the AquaTru Carafe is a reverse osmosis system, generally speaking, it'll remove more contaminants than any water filter pitcher.

Does anyone know which whole house water reverse osmosis filter. Filters 99.9 percent of every single contaminant. What is the actual best one. It’s not this
Not sure but I use the 6 stage us water systems RO system.
I doubt that you will find a comparison video of the best whole house ROs. These systems are incredibly expensive and much more challenging to install. We've looked into the whole house RO from US Water Systems and from Crystal Quest but without actually testing them with our own hands (hopefully some day in future). You might want to check them out...
