Do you still own this cooler? If so, how is it holding up? Debating this at 125. I am getting too old to be lugging coolers far.
I still own this cooler, it's cheaper than some other brands AND has wheels. I still recommend it if it's the right size for what you are looking for. Keeps everything cold for a long time.
Is it possible to disable the buttons and use sensor only? I want to use it as an adaptive aiming mouse, because I have no use of fingers but i can hold it and move it for aiming. i will use another device for triggers. i just don't want to be pressing the button and misfiring. so can the buttons be disabled?
I honestly can't remember, the software has capabilities to remap the buttons so it could very well have a setting there to make the buttons not do anything. Check or download the software to see if it can do it. I no longer have the mouse to test this.
@@TonysTipBits Ok well thanks for your help the video was very helpful and informative
No problem! Thank you for watching!
Tony, Thanks for posting this video. Talking to Philips customer support they wanted me to send the unit it but I was thinking the issue was in this area as well. Removing the O-rings my upper one was very worn out. With 10 shots of expresso for 3 years (10k shots) between a few people I could see how this can happen. This video was not the easiest to find so maybe you could add some more key words and add the other model # that have the same assembly. For example Mine is a EP3241 with mostly the same internal parts.
Thank you for the tip, apologize about not being able to find this video. Will work on search optimization to help others find this video. I hope you were able to get the o-rings to fix your situation. Thank you for the comment ava watching.
Hi again, I checked the data for my model (5500), and it's 15 bar and has a plastic brewgroup. That is good enough, isn't it? I just bought the machine and I am learning about coffee so subbed and liked, keep it up! Best regards from a Coffe drinking Top10-country - Sweden 😁
Thank you so much for the encouragement!
Good video. For me tho, cleaning a machine isn't a con. regarding the plastic, surely it depends on the type of plastic. A solid brew group of proper quality plastic is preferred above a second-rate metal one so for me, plastic vs metal isn't a given.
Thank you!
Thanks 🙏
You're welcome!
Does it make bigger cups like 12 or 16 oz?
Not really you can probably squeeze 10 oz with the coffee setting. You can do multiple brews to get your volume.
Sorry but first suggestion did not work on my machine. I want to use the second option but I couldn’t see what kind of product you use. Could you say it’s full name please? Thank you.
Any can of compressed air will do
Thanks a lot!
No problem! Let me know if that works for you.
Sure. I had never heard something named “compressed air” :) You know, generally males are familiar of these kinds of stuff! I ordered one from Amazon Turkey yesterday. (It’s s bit exprnsive BTW.) I’ll let you know if it works. But if it does not work, I am going to collect my money from you by force! 😊 (I’m just joking :)
Did the machine on the left side spray a mist outside the machine while getting water hot etc? Thanks.
Are you talking about the LatteGo container?
You can set it to do 2 shots.
Yes for the espresso option you can do two. But for the 4300 you can't add an additional shot of espresso with your drink option. Only the 5400 can do that.
never seen these before looks interesting. i like ur cs2 inventory as well looks nice and affordable
Thank you!
where do you fill up your c02?
There is a welding shop nearby that swaps out the tank with another that has food grade CO2. Pretty convenient.
@@TonysTipBitsThanks. I am worried about finding food grade near me
Look for Homebrew stores in your area. They should be able to help.

Nice job, just got this sharpener yesterday. Quick and easy, and great results!
Awesome! Thank you for the response!
Pretty much all fridges suck ! Ice and water machines cause most of the issues .
Yeah for sure!
Damn O-rings....same thing that brought down the Challenger!
Absolutely, but at least for this is only coffee.
Thanks for the tips.. Just got a 5400 actually today and was experimenting.. You say super fine on ur grinder.. So that means you have it on 1? Thanks for the link to the glasses..
Yes, for the beans that I'm using the super fine which is the lowest level is what I have mine set to. It really depends on the bean and how you prefer it. And also certain grind levels work better with different beans. So you'll have to play with it for some time. Remember when you're changing the different grind settings to do it as it is grinding the beans. Thank you so much for watching and leaving a comment.
@@TonysTipBits thanks..I will be using Starbucks blonde expresso to make my flat whites.. Also question on the cups..the smaller ones are tue 5.4 oz ones? That seems small tje drink you made. I see the larger ones are almost 12 0z.. Thanks again
Watch out because sometimes those Starbucks beans can be a little oily. So check that out, but if you keep your machine well maintained it should be okay. Recommendation are for beans that are less oily. The smaller cups that I have are typically for when I'm making an espresso or double shot of espresso. I do have another set of cups that I use when I'm using the lattego frother that holds about 10 oz.
@@TonysTipBits ah ok 10oz. Yeah the blonde roast are not shiny and don't leave any residue on your hands if you rub them between your hands.. That's the tests I read in another CZcams video..
I'm good at maintaining things so I just need to finds what you lube.. It's only me also so it won't get a lot of use like a family... I will still buy my first flat white of the day at Starbucks.. Just not 2 any more..😊
Where is the fan? Is it blowing the air inside or outside?
It's circulating the air inside
I does you no good to vaporize the water from the filament and not evac it out of the dryer. it will just re-absorb back into the filament remember water has three states - Solid-Liquid-and Gas or (Vapor) You must evac the vapor as the dryer pulls it from the filament other wise it just remains inside the dryer no matter how hot it gets. @@TonysTipBits
True, I end up opening the case once or twice to expell the vapor. That's been sufficient.
Thanks! Hopefully the 3200 is similar!
For sure! It should work for the 3200 as well.
Appreciate the flat white demo!
Thank you!
Thank you for showing this!

Tony, thank you for this amazing video.
You're very welcome! Comments like this really motivate me to do more. Thank you!
Water tank is removed. And placed back. Switched on/off. Restarted again. ✅
Great, glad you got it going again!
@@TonysTipBits Thanks. It works Elhamdülillah 🤲🏻
You're welcome!
Method does not work, probably a valve in the circuit that prevents air from being blown in
Maybe it's something else that's not showing it to work correctly. A different issue.
I am also facing the same issue on pixel 4a5g what should i do is it software problem?
Did you try the trick as shown in the video?
Thanks for taking the time to make this video, it was helpful!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching.
Great video Tony, do you ever clean the grinder under the bean hopper, or is there a liquid solution I should run through it to clean out and oils and debris
I haven't cleaned the grinder, but I do run the brew group tablets every month
@@TonysTipBits thanks mate, might have to see if I can find a tutorial about taking the hopper tray off to perform a super deep clean, I've been doing what your video shows as a basic clean once a month as it only makes 10 coffees a week maximum. But I'm sure there must be an effect of the ceramic grinder never being fully serviced, I know it's something that Phillips don't recommend but my machine is way past warranty.
Let me know how it goes! Thank you for watching.
I've found a video tutorial, and I've just followed it, works out great but I'm no CZcamsr, how can I send you the link privately. With your followers I think it'll be a great addition to your Phillips LatteGo maintenance videos (post warranty) of course
You may post the link in the comments here, I'll check it out. Thank you!
Are you holding the knife on an angle when sharpening? Thanks.
The device has a guide that puts your knife in the correct orientation. It takes out the guesswork
Nice review. Think I’ll buy one. 👍
Thank you for your feedback!
Good information sir. I just bought a Philips 4300 to replace my Saeco Exprellia which is now being repaired. I have had a super automatic for almost 20 years now and cant live with out one. I would like to recommend a shop where i have been buying coffee beans and repairs done over the years. Cerini Coffee & Gifts in the Bronx NY has been awesome and not pricey for both repairs and coffee supplies. They are a Philips/Saeco authorized repair center. The owner Johnny will answer the call at times and help with any questions. And remember... stick to the non oily beans to not gum up the grinder.
Thank you!
To much hassle for such an expensive crap. And then there's the sticky sticker issue over the hopper cover🤣🤣. Your trusty Ninja coffee maker could have satisfy your coffee cravings.
It's not bad, the sticker is annoying but I haven't had any issues since. I have a 2 year update video if you would like to watch that. Thank you for watching!
Hi there, I just wanted compliment you - I've just got the 5400 and am really struggling to find videos on how to fine-tune the making process to get the best cups of coffee, especially for a larger cup size. Your tips are great, I'll definitely try them!
You're welcome! Thank you for watching. I'll do one soon about cleaning the machine.
Do you think you could use this on a table on a patio or do you think it would HAVE to go on the ground?
I would recommend for it being on the ground. I couldn't imagine what would happen if the firepit tipped over or something. Solo stove makes a smaller sized one that might suit your needs if you want to put it on a table.
Hello, I have a 5400 series. Even though the water tank is full to the brim, it constantly gives the add water warning. How can I solve this?
I might talk to support on this one. I would try to reseat the water container and push it in towards the bottom of the container to see if it seats it better. Another thought is to blow some compressed air into the inlet and see if that helps the sensor. If not please reach out to Phillips.
What are your grind settings? And what coffee beans you like to use? Thx
Lavazza Super Crema (I put a link to it in the description) and max fine grind is what I found works best for this bean.
I noticed you only used the Stage 2 for sharpening and did not use Stage 1 to convert to a 15 degree angle. Are the knives that you sharpened in the video 15 or 20 degrees? Also, is there any advantage to convert a 20 degree knife to a 15 degree knife?
I only used stage 2 because I already converted this 20° knife to a 15° that's why I started on stage 2 to just sharpen. Stage 1 is only for the conversion. The advantage is that the knife is "sharper". "If you are using a given knife for heavier cutting or chopping if probably is best sharpened at 20 degrees. If you use a small or medium size knife only for light work such as paring, peeling, or light slicing you may prefer to sharpen it at 15 degrees in order to take advantage of its increased sharpness."
@@TonysTipBits Благодарю за ответ!👍
Two years later...I just had to tell you that I just bought one of these brand new (November 2023), and the annoying sticker still comes with the machine! LOL It's nice to know that I'm not the only one that was annoyed!
Thank you for confirming and validating my frustration!
Noticed your CO2 tank for your Soda Stream. I just use the original CO2 cylinder that came with it, and refill it with dry ice! Easy and cheap
Nice! I heard of others doing this method as well. I'm also homebrewer so having this CO2 tank just made sense for me with kegging. Thanks for watching!
No offense, but you've absolutely CHOKED that firepit with pellets. Pellets, fire starters, acclerant (hand sanitizer), lol You don't NEED all of that. Goes to clean ashes, shakes them literally EVERYWHERE... LOL
Yeah definitely some lessons learned since then. Glad I could get you to laugh though LOL.
You just saved me from buying a new machine. I am so thankful you made this video. Had to spend 3 euros for an o-ring instead of 600 for a new machine. O-ring just arrived and the machine works like it’s new again. Thank you so much!!!!
You are so welcome! I'm glad I could have helped! Enjoy your coffee!
What an absolute piece of trash of a machine. Same problem here. Tried your method. No Joy. Called support they were next level useless. Was told I need to send it back. BTW - This is new out of the box. Its going back for sure. Delonghi magnifica evo will be coming home.
Sorry to hear that. It's been well over a year and my particular machine is still doing well. Regardless I hope you are enjoying some good espresso drinks!
Thank you. I was looking for a size and I only found it in your video. But what is the size of a Tamper Basket Espresso ring?
Hey there! The brew group O-Ring is the very last link in the description. I believe the size is 32 x 4mm but have not confirmed this.
How the machine stands after almost 1 year of use? Any major issues beside those O-rings? Btw Lavazza it is spelled Lavatza! Is an italian brand. You should test Arabica coffee!
Thanks for asking. I've been meaning to do another video update and probably will in the future. After 1 year of use the machine is still working well. I've been maintaining the machine every week so that I'm getting the best out of the machine as possible. It only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to really clean the machine and I do it every Sunday. Other than the o-rings, no other major issues. As long as you keep it going and the o-rings are lubricated, you can pretty much keep going. Stay tuned for another video because I think I should do an update for everybody out there. Thanks for asking !
Didnt work for me, no idea what the other commenters are talking about
Maybe something else is going wrong with it unfortunately. Did you manage to figure it out?
Its work 👍👍👍👍👍👍
