Is it turbo engine only? My car is a 2021 cx-5 GT not turbo and I have the same problem. 😢

From what I heard from a few people in the Mazda forums if you installed a burger motorsports oil catch can it’s will help slow down the oil consumption problem with the turbo engines. I have bought one but haven’t installed it yet because right now I haven’t had a problem with it yet. However I’m planning on installing it soon.

Ridiculous advice. Sunroof drains clog often, leading to wet floorboards. You don't need to pull apart panels or remove edge gaskets/weatherstripping.. Just check the corner drains by pouring a bit of water in the channel at the corners. If it doesnt drain right away, its clogged. The simple fix: clear the drain hole entrance. Blow compressed air into the drain hole, or poke a flexible wire or nylon trimmer line into the drain hole/tube to unclog. Done. No need to pull anything apart, risking damage, wasting a lot of time, etc And if the drain hole is clogged, new weatherstripping won't help.

I use gaffer tape it sticks way better than masking tape to aluminium.

I own a 2015 Mazda 6 that I got in 2017 when I retired , it looks new, only 27000 miles and only had to replace the battery a couple of times because I dont commute any more , just trips to the store but I do run it at idle for about 15 mins before and after going to the store so last november , I installed an OPTIMA Red top battery with 720CCA and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants the most reliable most powerful battery on the market. I subscribed only to watch your Mazda videos , sorry I don"t care about the Firebird stuff . ❤

Thank you for the video. My 2016.5 CX5 sunroof leaks under pressure of car wash water jets when they are directly spraying into it near the rear of the sunroof. I couldn't figure out the location of leaks until this weekend. I was wondering how to replace the sunroof seal and I'm glad to come across this video! I was afraid of having to remove the headliner and the entire sunroof assembly so I am glad to see that I can just replace the seal. Looks like a pain to align but better than having to take it all out. Thanks again.

Yeah right you know exactly how it performs if you've been working on cars a long time they got to run like s*** smoke like a son of a b**** until all the b******* Burns off the engine and all the f****** spider webs and garbage and ratchet gets burned out personally I wouldn't trust the gas in that gas tank and I take the tank out and acid wash it before I did anything to that car if you don't you're not a very good mechanic and everything you ever built has been shipped

😊 I took the exact same car a blueprint 350 ar4 transmission with the locker kit😊 and made a hot rod the blueprint motor was 485 horses at the crank without a transmission

Since I have this car the Mazda CX-90 PHEV premium I don’t even know how many times I have been visiting the dealership, also there’s a sign in my dash saying engine malfunction or hybrid malfunction, I have a year with the car and Mazda has done just nothing, they told me I can’t use the app to warmup the car inside when is cold, but the same thing now in summer when is too hot I can’t use the app to cooldown the car inside, sir have you seen this issue?

We'll see 6th RAV4 soon. 2019 is begin of 5th rav4 and the transmission issue still in my mind😢

Hi Micheal, new subscriber love the channel, I"m 70 and retired in 2017 , and bought a 2 yr old 2015 Mazda 6 non turbo and it has been totally trouble free , So I live in So Cal don"t drive it when it rains so the parking brake, and sunroof leaks are not of concern to me , but thanks for the new content, and can"t wait for the next one 😊

HELP!!! My neice is being told RIGHT AS I"M WRITING that her bad HIGH PRESSURE pump may have ruined her CAMSHAFT!! Is that a THING?? She got the car just a couple yrs ago to have for several years, STILL paying, cannot afford a car XPLODING!!

I have a third gen also.i had that heat soak problem also.my solution was i got a mini starter. After that heat soak Never reappeared.anyway keep up the great work 👍

This video is so helpful! I have this issue with my 2021 CX5, 23k miles. The dealer only made a new oil change. Now, only 1 month later, 1k miles, the oil light is on again. I went to the dealer with this bulletin in my hands, and I dont understand why they didn't do this since the beginning.

Had the recalls all done on my 24 CX90 and also the grease service to the front end for the noise. It’s never run better and it’s a first year car, so going to have those type of stuff. My dealer is so amazing, and honestly it was a pleasure to get these services done. ✅

My wife has a cx90, we really enjoy the car. Only issue is the passenger side seat bottom for whatever reason came loose from the seat frame. Its at the dealership now. Im assuming they will have to replace the bottom. Im not sure. Besides that we love it. Im sold on Mazda's quallity. I have a Speed 3 with 300k I also loved that car. I traded it for a CX5 so far a good car also

Dude, thank you so much for this. My wife and I just bought one of these today but couldn't take it home because of this recall. We were curious about it and your video was one of the first things that popped up in a Google search. It's really impressive to see how involved it is and makes us a little nervous that our mechanic will not be as competent is you. I sure hope they watch this video, I'll send it to them in the morning. On a side note it's a little scary to think that this credit card sized piece of material is all that's required for Kia (or all other car manufacturers) to pass that particular crash test.. I sure hope my head hits that exact spot when if i crash 🙄

My cabin blower fan on my 2019 Niro hybrid lost power and hasn’t turned on for a month in 90-105 degree heat. But your suggestion to simultaneously hold off and hit mode four times gave me a code of 00 and it suddenly turned back on. It’s not running smoothly, perhaps because I removed the overdue cabin air filter, but it’s back to mostly full power! Such a relief! I can finally (hopefully) diagnose the issue as I’ve seen other videos where the circuit board on the motor just fries into a black scorch mark and shorts out

What’s the torque specs on the brake calipers brackets. I know on those they are super tight.
