Sam delivers those punches like a champ

*SPOILERS* The true meaning of the cutscene at 28:45 probably passed over most of our heads the first time we played, but to me it is the single most emotionally damaging moment in the entire game. After getting his ass beat for a third time by Sam, Unger tries one last time to plead for his child but notices that BB is cold to him. It's only when Sam whistles BB's theme back to him that he realizes the truth: that his son is not only alive, but he's strong, a capable warrior and healthy (his bridge to the future.) You can see the shock on his face as he grasps with the realization, and the complex flood of emotions that follows. He didn't fail his son, and his vengeance-driven pursuit to recover what was lost can finally be put to rest. Absolutely phenomenal acting from Mads. And some people have the nerve to say video games aren't art.

I'm Sam, and Higgs is the reason I got Death Stranding. Then Mads happened. That's how I feel about this game.

To think Kojima had this bottled up since probably after MGS2.

Those Cliff cutscenes inside the facility, imagine just how superb a Metal Gear game would have looked, even if Kojima has decidedly moved on from the series. It's a mighty leap over MGSV.
