I would like to know the economic factors of the patients
A largely underrepresented EPIDEMIC, caused by the high carb, high sugar, frequent caffeine and frequent booze in our culture. Also all these diuretics, metformin, and gastric bypass. We're doomed unless we make big changes.
Thanks. This video has been really helpful!
The narration and audio is very difficult to listen to.
Thank you for explaining this. I wish they would list it on foods and people would care to use it less. The details matter!
I took zinc carnozine 84mg, after my supper, an hour later, I took 200mcg selenium. Started feeling better, in that my breathing was not as labored as usual after a meal. I had energy all day today. Just finished repeating the routine. I will let you know how it goes.
Three days now, lots of energy. Each day I feel less fatigue. I always have trouble sleeping, but I have energy now, oddly, I do fall asleep faster, but only only sleep four hours, six with my sleep meds, which is half a 25 mg doxylamine (unisom, zquill) tablet, and a 1!4th 10 mg melatonin. I took iodine today, July 7th, 2024, it drops skin tags, and I don't eat seafood, so I take two a week. I took it about an hour before the zinc. I have to say, I feel stronger with this regime.
Ok, I took these for five days, each day I had more energy but on the 5th day, I stayed up all night. I had been more and more unable to sleep. Even now, four days after stopping it, I am having so much energy that I had not had in so long, that I can't sleep. I barely get four hours or three, I usually get six to seven, with sleeping pills. I do feel better, but I can't stand the energy level. I will have to gradually do this. I will try this again in a few days, maybe twice a week, while taking a whole sleeping pill, doxylamine 25mg. And melatonin 10mg.
I wonder if zinc l-carnate could pick it up and next day, selenium could take it out, or perhaps an hour apart, I've noticed niacin takes twenty minutes from mouth to flushing or heat rash. Pain pills too. I'm going to try this. I just researched it, they use zinc selenium combos to fight cancer. But I think timing is more important, giving zinc time to grab onto iron in cells and transport it, 42 minutes. This will be my experiment time. I will let you know how I am doing every day I do this. I know my iron is way too high. Ttyl
In grade 2 fatty liver how much mg of blood sugar will increase in the blood.
Thank you so much for great way of presentation.
Thank you so much for this! Back in 2018 I went with keto diet and religiously zero carb along with cardio workouts a few times a week. My sugar and cholesterol levels all went back to normal. I’m battling this again and this time I went for the exercise but not strictly zero carb and I’m seeing a different story. While improved, both sugar and cholesterol are still high. But I am also 36 years old this time around; not 30. Not sure if that has something to do with it.
Slowly worked for me. I have taken 6 months and i am down to half a spoon in each cup. Planning to continue so will reach a quarter spoon in the next 6 weeks. Started on 2 spoons.

Most amazing channel! I really love it like whenever I am searching any biochemical story if I won't get it anywhere.. Definitely here I am getting the answer I know
Very interesting. A side note: I've read that high levels of estrogen can mimic the symptoms of BPH, which, I would guess, is why symptoms might come and go, whereas, with BPH, I would think the symptoms would be constant.
Another great video! Thank you!
Excellent
Thanks again for another informative video👍
This expresses great insight and understanding of the problem. The video is both impressive and fascinating. I just wish she wouldn't use the metric measurements, or at least include the imperial equivalents. By the way, consuming pumpkin seeds is an excellent way to help with hormonal issues and 'shrink' the prostate. It's no cure, of course, but it is a very nutritious work-around. Raw, not roasted, seeds should be used, and be sure to chew them thoroughly, or they will be difficult to digest. They can be purchased already shelled.
Sorry about the metric measurements - this is all I know. It had not really occurred to me to "translate" them, will make an attempt to do this going forward.
@@Betterbodychemistry Well, thank you for caring. Older Americans never used the metric system. Google makes conversion really easy. You could literally type in "convert 34 degrees Celsius to Fahrenheit". It's that easy. Just like magic.
Excellent
Wow, you are the first doc to actually discuss this. Very impressive.
Great video! I love how you explain things and the cartoons.
Thanks so much!
These videos are great!
Glad you like them!
These videos are so depressing.
Oh dear. They are not meant to be, but being insulin resistance is really a big issue impacting every part of your health.

What evidence? What studies show that? Please describe the studies.
Instead of talking on and on, will you please just say whether or not there is any evidence that raising nitric oxide can lower elevated Hemoglobin A1C?
Yes
What if you superdose Vitamin C where it starts to go rogue and turns pro-oxidant?
What about this scenario? 13.1 hgb, 26.0 MCH, 6.1 A1C, 100 glucose fasting in a 48 years old men. Perhaps my A1C is being affected by low levels of mch?
On paper a low MCH could have the same impact. Less hemoglobin to glycate, shifting the ratio. It would be unusual to have low MCH with normal hemoglobin.........so it is unlikely that this has ever been looked at/considered.
If my blood pressure stays at around 110/75 (and hba1c at 4.9) is that a clear indication that I am insulin sensitive now.. ? Because ariund 3 years back before i started practicing intermittent fasting my blood pressure used to be be 130/85 atleast..also about a year back I also started subbathing for 10 to 15 mins daily for vit d synthesis and nitric oxide production (from info I've gathered over the years thru brilliant youtube channels like yours)
Based on your markers, looks like you have improved your metabolic health/insulin sensitivity. Well done. Glad you found my advice helpful.
If i take my bp reading first thing in the morning when I wake up and have been to the toilet, and my readings are well within normal range, do I still have to bother with this?
Short answer. It depends. Probably not, but there are cases of people who have normal daytime blood pressure and a problem at night. Could you be one of them ? How would you know ? I think you would need to take a look at everything else. If you have a clean bill of health from other markers - NO. If there are signs that there is trouble, maybe.
In the USA, white flour and white rice are fortified with iron. Breakfast cereals have ridiculous amounts of iron, from 60% to 90% of the RDA in one serving, and the servings are probably smaller than what most people actually eat. Some studies have concluded that iron overload drives insulin resistance, which could be one reason Americans are so fat.
You make such a good point. In my opinion iron is a key player in insulin resistance. Not sure it actually the start of the problem, but once insulin levels are high : morning, noon and night, the ability to tightly regulate iron absorption is gone. So excess dietary iron, particularly in the form of iron salts, is going to be a problem. In terms of fortification, we have a similar situation in South Africa. Maize meal and flour are fortified with 8 different things......... among them iron. South Africa (a country where a huge number of people go to be hungry every night) is considered among the fattest in the world.
Sigh. So many people are eating cereals, especially kids. It's sad.
I know that zink can be an iron antagonist and it is also supposed to help with, "male fertility."I wonder if it partly act to help with male fertility partly through it's antagonistic action against Iron.
Maybe.... zinc does seem to increase testosterone levels, both in men and women - I don't think "they" know why. I will do a little digging.
Zinc Motif at the center of steroid sysnthesis. Also, Zn is a reasonable aromatse inhibitor. Great topic for another video 😊@@Betterbodychemistry
Thank you for the video :) Will get straight to reducing fat and iron as soon as I finish this cream donut 😂 I'm just joking! Love this channel!

I read that selenium helps prevent cancer
I took a magnesium supplement but it made me feel hypoglycemic. I eat Brazil nuts (one of the nuts that doesn't bother me) and broccoli
Brazil nuts and broccoli would both be good sources of magnesium.
Mg should not make anybody hypoglycemic unless he/she is taking hypoglycemic agents like prescription drugs.
@@samirnarvekar8488 I feel hypoglycemic when I eat histamine food or food that I am allergic to. I think it might have something to do with cytokines. I've been searching for answers for 45 years but no doctors have been able to help me.
I found a D lactate free probiotic that is supposed to help people with histamine issues (and autism). I dont know if that is what you are talking about. I have histamine problems so I want to try the probiotic: L Rhamnosus, L Salivarius, B Lactis, B Bifidum, B infantis, B Longum
I am not actually a big fan of probiotics. They can sometimes backfire, especially if you already have gut issues, but sometimes it is good to experiment......... just be cautious.
I've been researching since adolescence about my hypoglycemia. I feel hypoglycemic but when I check my blood sugar it is normal. I recently started getting brain fog when I eat histamine food. I'm almost 60 years old and I think I have histamine intolerance or cell mast activation syndrome. I have read that these conditions can lead to insulin resistance. I read that histamines affect cytokines which affect blood sugar. My doctors don't know what is going on with me. I'll keep watching videos and reading. I have also read that ginger helps with histamine intolerance. I eat low carb and low histamine and I exercise (take walks) when I'm not feeling brain fog. Should I eat less butter? I indulge in butter on my vegetables because I don't react to it because it is not a histamine food I don't think.
So sorry to hear of your health struggles. I don't know very much about histamine intolerance and if you search the big medical data bases, there is nothing linking histamine to insulin. Easiest way to know if you are dealing with insulin resistance is to take a look at other "symptoms". A feeling of being ""hypoglycemic"after a meal is not one of them. High blood pressure, big belly, high triglycerides, high sugar and low HDL are the typical markers.
I read that white blood cells are the frontline defense for the immune system. I would be interested in seeing a video that shows scientifically tested methods of improving or even increasing white blood cell count.
Can keep my eye out for stuff on this topic.......... but not sure increasing white blood cell count is in an of itself, a good goal. It has the potential to back fire = autoimmunity.
Why you talking so fast? 😅
🙈 It's seriously hard to say anything in less than a minute - trying to figure out You-tube shorts, the clipping software allows you to speed things up. Maybe I sped it up TOO MUCH.
😍
i assume it can help hemeroids?
There is no research that I can find on this, but I would say it is probably worth a try. As an aside, there is some debate as to whether hemorrhoids is actually a problem with constipation.
@@Betterbodychemistry i find it easier when stools are thin. They are easier to pass. I ran across a site called gutsense which basically says the same thing about fiber.
I would be interested to know how the body reacts to hydrogen, I've heard that hydrogen infused drinking water also has health benefits
I have glanced at the topic in passing, not a lot of good science, mostly people selling "it" (vested interests). I will take another look. Hydrogen gas will be a signaling molecule (a "gasotransmitter" so to speak), whether drinking it will trigger useful biology will be the big question.
Love this channel because you don't just blindly follow what everyone else is saying (that high sugar causes diabetes) your discoveries should be much more widely circulated. Consumers should also be aware of how much fat/oils get added to every single kind of processed food item.
Thanks. Appreciate your support
Hi Sandy, do we. put more oxygen in the body when we do breathing exercises.... like panayama or eep breathing? Or only thing to achieve this. Thanks and have a lovely day 😊 ❤ Rosie 🌹
Breathing exercises are definitely beneficial. The benefit will be less about "saturating" oxygen levels so the oxygen is pushed into the tissue and more about triggering the parasympathetic nervous system. This is the side of your nerve system which helps you relax. As you relax, your blood vessels also relax and this ends up improving the delivery of oxygen.
