Yea we were struggling there without the trolling motor, it had been in the works for a bit so it was nice to get it and be able to go back. Thank you for the heads up about the live well and speed limit, didn’t know either of those things.

Since dropping this video I’ve actually started using a Genesis 3D Printing Hip Pinch Eliminator. Absolutely game changing product. Makes the sit soooooo much more enjoyable, I wish I would of started using it earlier and I would of spoke about it in the video but that gives me a good idea for a future video.

Facts!

For the Acrylic windshield you should be able to get it from any shop that does acrylic work for around $200-$300. The black acrylic on the dash I got from Amazon. It was a little wider than the dash so we used a jig saw to cut it and make the cutouts for the gauges/garmin. Just be very careful and patient, I broke the first one we tried to do because I got to confident and rushed it.

⁠@@brianpino7274I believe I typed something along the lines of “acrylic panel black” and it think it was a 12x24 and 1/8 thick which was almost perfect. We rounded off the edges to give it a nicer finish.

At the rate he was pulling right before this I was 2 minutes from being spooled. 5k series combo wasn’t up to par with whatever was on the other end of that line

@nativeoutdoorz i was talking in regards to not breaking your rod and let it spool or break the line. how do you know 2 minutes? and 2 minutes woulda saved you enough to realize what i just said.

Yes I was trying to get around to the bow of the boat where the fish was running towards but I had that other line in my way. I cut the video to make it shorty but after the rod snapped I had to work the rod around the line on the other rig and that’s how I was able to get to the bow but it was too little too late at that point

Thank you! The dry weight from factory is 1600 lbs I’m sure after the new engine and t top it’s probably a little more than that so I would say right around 2100-2200 lbs if I had to give it a guess

@@nativeoutdoorz yea seems wrong sometimes and you really wanna get your hook back and free the fish of it, I myself recently was fishing for cats and a walleye ate my bait off the bottom and was hooked deep so I decided to leave it in

I try not to stress them if possible. These fish are able to dissolve hooks fairly rapidly and continue to eat during their healing process. I was informed of this by a fresh water fish biologist. Crushing the barb has made the biggest difference in harming catch and release gamefish for me personally, though.

This gun did not bring a factory full choke

@@nativeoutdoorz I see. I just shoot the factory full choke which isn’t quite as tight as turkey choke, but sometimes that can be beneficial and give more room for error especially when hunting in close in the timber
