- Hey Y'all! This season has been long and tough on me but I was finally able to put the smackdown on some hogs! Hope you guys enjoy this video where I got to film my brother in laws first hunt!!!

@@wcsdiariesAnywhere near water is usually good. They’ll be in the middle and all around of Flag ponds, cypress, transition lines from flag ponds/cypress to oak hammocks and pine flat woods. Look for fresh sign. Specifically poop, hogs crap a lot everywhere. The softer it is the fresher it is, you find a bunch of soft turds all over the place and you know you’re In the right area. I’ll be doing a hog scouting video soon

@@wcsdiariesthat’s the thing, if you see in this video I went on like 3-4 different days looking for them and nothing. Then last hunt we were thinking of leaving cuz it was getting hot and late but I told my brother let’s just check out one more spot I never been to before. I looked on OnX, saw some cypress domes near some woods and we got on them in less than 2 minutes of walking up to the cypress dome I wanted to check out. Just stick to looking in the right areas and you’re bound to come across them. I almost can’t help but finding hogs nowadays. Wish I had the same luck with bucks lol
