As an Englishman who lived in Cymru, this beautifully sung melody just reminds me of why I miss the place so very much, and part of the reason why I considered it to be my true home. I would like to learn welsh only to tell Cerys how I love her. I remember driving by night through the Jura mountains (in France, not the scottish island) and our kids were singing on the back seat the songs of her solo albums...

Great interpretation of our greatest love song.

Getting very nostalgic playing alot of Cerys and discovering quite a few "new" tracks and programmes that passed me by while I get busy with life. Im spurred on this redescovery of Cerys after having my first child at 44 last week, and of course naming her Cerys.

I wasn't expecting the change in the melody for the last verse. Unusual but nice touch and well performed it makes it sound more upbeat. If you're to 'sing the day and sing the night' then the end ought to be an ascending melody of contentment though it was still lower than expected.
