Carys has such a beautiful voice that is simply perfect for this lovely song. As an Englishman who lived in Cymru, this beautifully sung melody just reminds me of why I miss the place so very much, and part of the reason why I considered it to be my true home. I wasn't expecting the change in the melody for the last verse. Unusual but nice touch and well performed it makes it sound more upbeat. If you're to 'sing the day and sing the night' then the end ought to be an ascending melody of contentment though it was still lower than expected.
