As a Lakers fan I respect a Big Perk. When he got injured in game 6 I knew it was a huge deal. And I truly felt like he completed that 2012 Thunder squad, gave them a solidified vet who doesn't need to score to impact the game. He's a champion, that is all.

Perkins was a solid, rebounding/defending starting center at the peak of his career. He was at least good enough that when the Celtics lost Game 7 to the Lakers in the 2010 Finals, people were at least saying commenting on Perk's absence in that game and how it might've affected Boston.
