Eric playing Robert Johnson's song "Kind Hearted Woman". This was during his 2004 tour, but I don't know exactly where or when.
Eric Clapton - Reconsider Baby

Eric playing the Lowell Fulson song "Reconsider Baby" on a Gibson Firebird in Philadelphia 1995. Very rare to see him playing a Firebird. This guitar was actually given to him by a fan before the show and he played it on a couple songs that night. Video is shaky at times, but the sound is not bad at all, and the playing is great.
Eric Clapton - Double Trouble

Simply put, this video contains some of Eric Clapton's finest playing ever. Eric playing the Otis Rush classic "Double Trouble" at MSG 1995.
Absolutely fantastic.
Eric the love of my life😊great performence😊❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Absolutely stunning. Seen him so many times, his secret surely is that what’s in his soul comes out in his playing…..and gets right to the core of OUR souls. So many hair standing, goosebump moments.
Who"s in his band during this performance?
Yeahh nice album love it
EC has been my favorite artist for over 40 years … I’ve seen him live many many times … and I’ve seen many great guitar players in my life … EVH … Peter Green …Alvin Lee … Robin Trower …BB King …etc … and he is the best I’ve ever seen ….. when he WANTS to play … I’ve seen many mediocre shows from him too … but when he really wants to play … he’s slice and dice your soul to pieces …with fewer notes than anyone … he is touched my magic 🪄 🎸
Pure genius 🎸
People that say Clapton peaked when he was in Cream r so full of shit.
Eric's no stranger to the Firebird. He played a Firebird I during the entire set in Baltimore, MD, during Cream's "Farewell Tour." I'm a witness! :-)
And he's playing a Firebird. Gibson Save this people! Won't see it again 🤠🇺🇸✌️🇬🇧🐴🥪
One of the tastiest versions, I think. Sizzling licks!
I HAD A Epi firebird years ago sounded like the one clappers is playing .... sorry i fkn sold it now
Awesome is all I can say
WOW!!!!
I love how so many rock guitarists get themselves into contorted postures, yet can’t seem to get the sound out. EC just lays it down. Pure. Simply the best.
Was at this show and remember this great moment.
Is he using that teeny tiny tweed amp in the back????
There are doubled Fender Tweed Twin Amps.
Heck of an amp. Resurrected his sound to this day
The guitar is beautiful, Eric. I suspect it might be one of those in the Hall of Fame. I'm following this song. Love you ....
cela tranche l ame laissant penetrer la presence de l eternel
Oh Lawd ! I'm simply speechless wOw !! Nothin but The Blues Tour.. saw it at The Omni in Atlanta, Ga. ..2 and half hours of sheer bliss !!
On this classic he is smoking and blows everything else away
God is playing
He has achieved greatness in every decade he has been playing guitar it would be almost impossible to say which is best
Ruined by all that stupid messing on with the camera zooming in out & all over the place.
Yeah! Saw Eric play his own Firebird in '68 in LA. Probably why I bought one. (Left handed) Saw Johnny Winter play his too!
EC LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!
Magnifico...
finger crazy
The top. The elite. The best, hands down. never imitated, never equaled. Clapton. The last word.
this is feel cream's play like childish. 90's eric is far better than cream.
Wow, you don't see clapton playing a firebird often.
Fantastic!!!
ClaptonIsGibson
Excellent. But I still like the version with Winwood better!
jeez. magnificent
Just one man one guitar. What a song. Mind blowing
the drunkards yelling are cracking me the hell up. But hey, I'd probably be doing the same thing at a Clapton concert in 1995!
wow!! he is playing a firebird. Never see that. Thanks!!! Clapton sound really nice with a Gibson
This sucks compared to howlin Wolf
However the melody. Still the same way
i agreeeeeeeeeeee!!!!
Amazing rendition of the Otis Rush song. One of Erics best solos, also like the one with Steve Winwood too.Untouchable player in blues.
nice pants
I agree with those 3 dislikes...real music critics there. Doesn't compare with Justin Timberlake, right?
Everybody giving credit to EC & DA, This is a Howling Wolf song. There is no better than The tail dragger himself.
yes he is
Almost the same age Clapton influenced my life greatly......so did Howlin Wolf.. Da blues was in me from an early age.. This rendition is excellent. Throaty, funky and "down-in-the-basement." I'm so grateful for this rendition. I'm now 67yo and still playing the blues...the Hammond B-3.
@wrbegin Yes I have. I actually sing Have You Loved a Woman in Karaoke.
Clapton with a Firebird, Great!
interesting..Clapton plays a firebird :-)
great,....you can also see a very good clapton on this channel playin' "steppin' out" live ,played on his 335
I had a '63 Firebird reverse V - and didn't dig it, still don't. Tone is too thin
Take off more treble on the amp and add more bass and middle also consider lowering the presence control
