An ENTIRE DAY TO QUILT! I did a QUILTING marathon DAY! So you don’t have to!
I have been working on a quilt for my daughter for a few months now and I hit a slump and was losing my motivation. I tried to re-energize myself by trying a full day of quilting - or a quilt marathon day. I picked a day that I could devote myself entirely to working on my quilt - or so I thought! Real life got in the way but I still managed to spend 7 full hours working on my quilt. Come and see how I did! I hope my video inspires you to try a full day of quilting yourself. Thanks for watching!

Well, I must agree with each of the other 4 commenters🥰 I’m relatively new to your channel, thank you for sharing with us! As I’m listening I wondering if you have or plan to sort out some of your things? I’m in the process of getting a whole space to myself after a lifetime of being patient🙏🏻✝️. I’m very adamant about only putting the things/projects in there that I plan on doing. Yes it’s so time consuming but I feel that’s the step I need to take! I’ll be passing things on to a local thrift store, schools or senior centers if they need it. If you think yarns/materials are out of style, they can always be made into hats, gloves, blankets for pets and homeless shelters. Generally they are so welcomed they don’t care if it’s “out of style”. Another thought would be to gather pieces for a certain project- and work on it til it’s accomplished. THEN celebrate the win🎉🎉🎉 Before you know it you’ll be using up your stash👏👏👏 Anyway thank you for listening, and I hope you don’t beat yourself up to much🥰❤️😀

wow I'm so pleased you will give it a try! Hand stitching - just any old variety pack of needles from the fabric store - then keep experimenting with the size/thickness until you find one that YOU find comfortable in your hand and with the items you are sewing. - That's what I do. Machine needles were 80/12 or 90/14 sharps - I think these are basically "all purpose" sizes.
