8:17 So TMJ can be the reason I have pain under my jaw into throat area? Left hand side only. Also under my tongue pain.? Interesting ❤
I have to comment and say I wasn’t expecting much doing this. I have had chronic shoulder pain after sitting or laying down. I did this, and ALL of my shoulder pain went away. I keep testing it….its gone, thank you so much for sharing this!
Thank You.
Great video! Question: Any tips for guys with beards? I'm finding some of these movements catch on my beard and make it hard to really get into the muscle.
Thank you for your detailed explanation and excellent demonstration!
Thank you so much! I wake up from nightmares most nights due to C-PTSD so I feel tense every morning. After these exercises my jaw feels so much softer, my breathing is deeper, I am fully aware of my surroundings again. I'm going to do this every night and morning.
What a lovely young woman xx
Thank you
Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us 🤗
Thank you for a path into critical awareness and stress management techniques that can be so elusive. I really appreciate it!
Can i use this method for ligament injury 😊
6:19 thats what she said
Wow, I feel a lot more relaxed after this one, a LOT.
This is great. I thought i had tmj. Turns out it's inflamed muscles that spasmed and have trigger points. This video is super helpful. However, i will say ive had success getting it to come down from doing very slow massaging of the fibers jn all directions and finding trigger points and then gently holding until it releases. This combined with heat and NSAIDs have been helpful. I also have to get to tge root cause whicj is stress and my bite. Im clenching anf i didnt even know it.
Thank you so much, I was in agony yesterday but did this before bed and pain all gone now
There is no effect after doing, this my muscles are ROCK-hard literally, my fingers feel as if they were scratching a rock, no kidding,
Whoa, genius to use your other had to massage the outside muscles while compressing/pinning from the inside. I've always tried to do the circles/tension release on the inside of my mouth, which is extremely painful and I think less effective! Thanks!
What are your thoughts on tmj therapy, specifically orthotics? I'm debating whether or not I should pay all of that money for something that might not work; or worse, be detrimental to my current bite. Thank you!
This changed my life thank you so much. Until this I think my jaw hadn’t actually relaxed in years… doing the whole thing and taking your time is so important - I had tried various „quick fixes“ in the past but only this video has truly helped my jaw finally relax I am so grateful 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you for this! I’ve been doing teeth clenching unintentionally and it sucks. I did warm compress and avoided chewing gum just like kriss ai said. It gave me few mire methods but I just did those two. I’ll probably do this as well! ❤
That's great to hear! Consistency with those methods should really help. What is kriss ai?
@@ryanfajardo4364 I think she's talking about this dental assistant ai. It's a great resource for dental info
@@allisondarcy Where can I access this krissai? Is it free?
.Just came on my feed. My PT did for me & took away vertigo within 3-4 week… was amazing!!! Unfortunately had to stop, couldn’t afford $100 month for co-pays - SS barely covers care home cost, medically necessary food & medication not covered by Medicare or Medicaid. Vertigo came back few months ago & frequency has increased. Have severe case of CRPS so not able do myself, but now can show this step by step video to caregiver & hopefully she’ll help me do exercise weekly. Can’t tell you how much appreciate you making this info accessible to everyone… so helpful!!! Millions of us disabled out there that can’t get proper care. Come across people from Sydney often in online support groups. Definitely recommend as possible place to seek treatment for conditions you help with FYI CRPS is rare, very misunderstood in both standard & alternative healthcare professionals & clinics. If come across a client with - DO NOT put ice on affected area, can cause permanent damage. May already know but has happened & continues to happy way too often so thought pass it out n if didn’t. Think practitioners need be willing to admit their just not capable of knowing EVERY medical condition & open to get info from regular people, so they can provide better treatments. Most aren’t telling anyone how to do their job, but need to be receptive enough to listen & then practitioners make the effort to look into it. Be a lot more people able to get stronger, healthier & able live a normal life. Just my humble opinion. Would appreciate spreading the word amount colleagues & any organizations you may be part of. Only way can create change & help so many truly desperate people that are tired of being looked at as lucrative or not lucrative, a nuisance, etc. Take care 🫡
Oh my God! I didn’t even do it properly, just followed what I could while watching the video. And I feel like a new person after 2 years of constant jaw clenching 😭 Thankyou so much for this video.
Great I appreciate
This came up in my recommended videos as I was grinding my teeth. Haha
Wow Thankyou so much I tried this for the first time tonight and I genuinely felt the difference straight away ❤
Thank you for this! It's been a game changer for me!
Thank you for this video! I started this awful habit years ago and today I woke up with jaw pain which triggered a migraine. I just finished your process and my migraine went away and my jaw muscles feel good. I could hug you right now. You are a blessing.
Is it normal for my face to feel a little sore after doing this for the first time or is that a sign I did something wrong? Everyone is talking about feeling relief, but for me it doesn’t feel much different, just a little sore.
My jaw has been locked for a few days now, i did this routine for the first time, it felt really good, I'll see if it helps!
I have just come across this video after searching for a technique that would give some relief from pretty severe TMD. I grind at night & clench throughout the day. This actually works, I will be saving this and coming back to it again! Thank you 🙏🏼
What lubricant or lotion are you using?
I came here t relieve stress i ended up more stressed
❤️✌️
Watched this video and woke up in a pool of drool the next morning. Never happened before and also my the tension around my temples is gone. Highly effective, will recommend. Thank you so much.
Thank you teacher,
Thank you so much!
This is fantastic information.. thanks heaps !
I had no idea how much temsion i hold in my facial muscles
Thank you so much !!!
Thank you. I’ve been struggling with clenching for months now. Hoping that an oral surgeon will be about to help, somehow. In the meantime, this is so helpful. Ty!
Chewing gum is another solution for some issues… my dentist advised!!!!
Thanks
thank you
Thank you omgggggg
Thank you ❤
I have been clenching my teeth really hard while I sleep for about a year now. I have noticed that my jaw has shifted . My mouth and teeth are out of alignment now! Is this possible from clenching my teeth? And, if so, can I straighten my jaw again? TY for sharing your knowledge for everyone. Most people can't afford to see a specialist like yourself. 🙏
Thank you so much, this is really helpful. You are doing a great job by sharing this, helping people to get rid of their pain
This is wonderful advice. Another nice spot to hit is the ears! When I went to school to become a massage therapist, they had us turn our heads as far as we could in both directions. Then massaging our ears for about 1 minute, the cartilage around the outside, your ear lobes, along the tragus (the cartilage halfway up your cheekbone, then moving your entire ear by tugging on it in different directions. Our ears were beet red by the end, but they had us retest our neck rotation and all of us could turn further than before. Sometimes when I have a tendon headache I'll massage my ears, even in public, because you have so many muscles connecting near your ears, it kind of helps them all!
