My mom was born and raised in Wheeling WV before moving to Texas where I was born and she has taken me back there so many times and yea I could only imagine driving a rig through some of those spots. I watched a truck roll on its side over some railing down the side of a mountain, luckily it flatened out and the driver was banged up but alive with no severe injuries.

Bet that was expensive

I believe the FET tax is a tax that is based on the capacity of the load. You can derate the trailer to avoid the tax but you forfeit your ability to hail the big loads. So it’s based on the number of axles and their load rating.

I've criss crossed West Virginia alot and those roads I can say from furst hand knowledge are EXTREMELY Tight especially the back roads....Nevermind the interstate What the signs say they mean when it comes to speed. That Oversize Silo being hauled on the back of that Lowboy Trailer and havinh to be repositioned by thst Rotator Wrecker. I've seen that more Times then I care to count out there
