May it is possible to do this kind of surgery for me

I'm on day one after upper jaw surgery. Does anyone have any tips with how to eat and just overall recovery ideas? My mouth feels so stiff and I can't open it due to the elastics too

Hi had top and bottom jaw surgery 10 years ago and wish i never had it. Still cant feel my chin and my nose is totally different now compared to what i was born with. After care is terrible, swelling didnt full go down and still couldnt things like apple and steak until at least 1 year post surgery. Nobody warns you about how much the swelling stops you eating and how depressed you get during recovery due to being hungry, pain killers etc. If i could do it all again, i would never have had this surgery. Its horrific!
