Next time when you go to make polymer clay rings, use liquid fimo or liquid sculpey (they are same thing, liquid sculpey is a little bit thicker) if you have parts you want to stick together or add bits and pieces to stick on your rings use a tiny little bit on the pieces put it together then bake. The liquid fimo/sculpey used on your designs should stick better... I hope that made sense. Sculpey also sells a clay softener so you add a couple of small drops and the clay will bond back together. You can use baby oil to re-soften sculpey clay (as it’s a oil based clay) but you can use water for fimo clay as that’s mineral based..I’ve never tried these techniques myself.
