Just a quick video describing the cause of the 2017 Honda Accord never powering down when trying to turn off the vehicle. The light would be continuously blinking on the push start button and the center screens would stay on and so would the instrument cluster. No codes present at all.

    By the way I was able to fix my problem My battery voltage dropped to 9 volts while starting and I didn't have to buy a fuel pump I just needed a new battery 2013 ML550

    It looks like since compressors with solenoid vale always working summer and winter and only the flow of gas is controlled not the rotation and rotation never stops they break down and get damaged more than the compressors with clutch why they make this type of compressors.

    Hi, I have a 2006 range rover sport diesel that is not engaging reverse, I took the valve body out and yellow and green soleniods are reading 6.7ohms while the black one is reading 10.7ohms. Are these normal values?

      Autel scanner, any of the higher end autel with a current subscription should be able to do it, possibly launch scanners also.

    So, lesson to us, mere mortals: 1. Pretend I am just a dumb user / driver. Get in the car, look around, I might see some evidence of prior "work": relays lying around, Huge Colossal Parts Cannon lying on the floor, etc. 2. Do the basics first: check voltage DROP on fuses (takes a minute or two). Note: pulling fuses and relays is a 10000 year old profession, never dies. 3. Using the two previous Rules of Life, there will be no need for gizmos, expensive trinkets, etc.

    Hi friend. Question. I got a 2011 BMW 550i xdrive n63 engine. I put a new engine in 2 new catalytic. converter. But the car is shaking. And hot. Misfire 2/4 from the passenger side only. Do you know what cost that please??

    So if i have a u0100 missing communication with ecm would this fix work as a bypass?

      no, the computer has to be able to communicate.

      @@DTEAuto thanks for the reply. I used a jumper wire on the start/run relay which doesnt have 12v coming i to it, truck starts. Is that relay controlled by the pcm?

    I really like the thorough way you perform the tests. It would be even better to mount your camera on a tripod. The constant moving camera made me kind of seasick.

    Wha!!!! God made you for a purpose! Here is our client's problem: Client's 523i is disengaging into Park as in video when you release the brake pedal to drive off. Meanwhile, a scanner is showing actual gear is 1st Gear in any knob position.... In Neutral, car is trying to move forward, but laboring like you've stepped on the brakes....and the scanner can't access the Gear Selector Module..... We agree with you on the low ATF as someone changed the fluid after sump damage and we guess they nenver run engine when topping up! Will notify you accordingly 😊

    Even if you don't have a scope, manual compression and leakdown tests and a bore scope would have saved money for any parts thrown one might choose to toss at it. Most auto parts stores have these tools for rent, and some give all your money back when tools are returned. Excellent explanation. most leave out how other cylinders affect the problem cylinder when a valve is leaking nor look at the crank rotation in relation to compression strokes. Good job.

    Excellent diag Sadel! Really well explain and very useful information! I agree with you when techs have a code like that automatically blame the turbo! Red channel connected to the pressure sensor of the car; do you create the table in Pico Scope? Is it hard to create your own table? I have a fuel tank pressure sensor that I want to add.       The pressure readings are from the actual sensors that are on the car and the engine computer watches and gets its readings from. All I did was create a custom probe setting in the pico to convert the voltage to a psi reading since I found the spec for the sensor in BMW service information

    The best and most interesting part of entire diagnosis was at 18:34, when you determined that it was "hungry". In other words, he needs a "boost". Now you liven up your diag with hollywood action so to speak.

    This just happened to a customers car. Car sat for a while he drove it over to me, the battery died, when i went to give it a jump. Now it just cranks with no start. Smh
