SS is just absolutely broken. The R1 spam literally makes it so fast that other small weapons can't even compare. Not to mention the hitboxes exceeding the length of the weapon

The game wont let me back stab players most of the time. Back stabs are all people are going for right now and i lost track of how many diffrent ways ive gotten back stabbed. I'll play as close to perfect as i can and try to punish and chip away at my opponents but 1 or 2 back stab teleports and i lose. Ive had people standing in front of me back stab me and my jaw dropped as I watched the animation. Especially because they punched away from me with their back turned to me as i fell to the ground. Township pvp players with fast internet are more dangerous then any boss ive ever faced in any souls game. Most of the time its impossible to defend yourself from backstabs no matter what you do and if you are able to protect your back its only a matter of time. I remember when i beat all the hardest bosses in elden ring without summons and thought i was at least decent. Picked up dark souls afterwards and towards the end of my second playthrough i tried pvp and realized i either sucked badly or the pvp mechanics are busted. I tried "getting good" for hours and i won a single pvp match out of dozens. Invaders would either run into the trash mobs before i could finish them or they'd chain back stabs until i was dust

U can do everything here but instead of fighting oc u can go to the dlc and run around to grab ur last chunks and a slab. So all you have to do is kill dancer.

Really good advice there! 👍Coming from Dark Souls I had to adjust quite a bit. Hit&Run is really painfull here and extends any fight quite a bit.I had to learn that I really should pay attemtion to KI Pulse and stay close for constant damage, which improved my fights quite a lot. I still have to find out though, how to improve KI damage, seeing that this is also quite a factor

The fight mechanics from this fight was amazing. Especially when he is on the dragons back fighting you flying around. They put a lot of thought and time into this boss. Really fun fight.

Blocking in this game actually fucking trash, sometimes it doesn’t work and it gives the opponent like 4 free hits, so i never block since its just free damage.

Yea, poise caps at 81 in DS1, bro, a great sword swing (2-handed) can break most peoples poise, considered dering most people wanna move fast. DS1 poise is much better!

its not the chain thats the problem, if they can poise-tank through anything you throw at them while they wear literally nothing then they will just do it again, they can run forward faster than you can try to backstep. literally nothing can be done unless you try to circle them.. but odds are luck and latency is not in your favour.

Blocking in this game feels so frustrating. No matter how i block i wll get hit by some bullshit, out of all the other fighting games i play this one is the most frustrating due to blocking. I like how the fighting feels but i dont know if i will keep playing for long.

Coiled sword is like infinite homeward bones, each homeward bone costs 500 and in to just 1 slab which costs to buy 20000 later or even found better is to keep that coiled sword, unless never using it and you sure
