For the grandparents, 1st trip to Exuma for Mason. Short flight from Nassau to Staniel Cay, (25 mins), stayed at Serenity Point, spent two days in SC. Sea's were not ideal but as always the sheltered side was relatively smooth. Went to see the swimming pigs followed by the Iguana's just south of SC.

Nassau yo Staniel Cay November 2011. Compass Cay to see the nurse sharks. Big Major spot for the pigs. Bitter iguana Cay for the Iguana's. Stayed at Serenity in Staniel Cay. We had to take down the work boat in tough sea's, flatten out once we were on the sheltered side of the Exuma chain, good 4 hours!

Footage from 6.30am through to 5pm, 25th August 2011. Various locations around Nassau Bahamas. from my discussions with friends, it would appear the West at Delaporte Point, central at Saunders and Clifton got hit the worse, major wind heading South.

The wind drop off about 4 hours after the Hurricane had past, we went out only to find the wind had picked up again, you can see from the video the waves coming in from the North were at least 12ft, white caps for miles out to sea.

Drive around Nassau to see the destruction, still very much blowing. Started Sandport and ended up at Goodmans Bay, the wind was too strong so i turned around. The Bahamas police force were out clearing fallen tree's, doing a stella job.

I had my giant octocopter do a flyaway when I put a wireless camera on it. do not mix gps and any wireless device. it crashed next to a 100 grand car and set on fire. I know how scary it can be. I keep it on a 20 meter rope now and it removes the sick feeling when I fly - check out my vid (octocopter test 0001)

I am sorry about the accident. I maidened my 450 last week I had all people and critters backed up, and I hit my neighbors car, I'm glad it wasn't a person. These things need flown in a big field up high and far away I am in an air club now and have a trainer. Do you still fly?

How did you book all of these amazing adventures ? Was it through a tour company that offered this as a package, or did you book a private book and visited all these islands yourself ?
I live in NASSAU and simply booked a room a flight and a boat - the rest is easy just go and explore the days
