Going through my third retrieval. Thank god I’m asleep during this lol
13 months ago 12 out of 13 mature eggs fertilized via ICSI. (93%) Yesterday 3 out of 12 mature eggs fertilized (25%) no MFI
Just had my eggs collected yesterday. My stomach is cramping and it’s so massive. And I’m someone who works out 5-7 x a week
Why do women experience discomfort after the egg is retrieved ? I was thinking once the egg is removed, she wouldn’t feel the symptoms of ovulation anymore.
I think it’s because once it’s started you can’t stop the hormones from flowing to accommodate the gamete which had started but I don’t know medicine that’s just my guess

If you’re under anesthesia, you won’t feel anything. A nurse told me today she took a tylenol after her procedure and didn’t feel anything cause she was asleep the whole time! So don’t worry please..

I JUST DID THIS TODAY and wow what an experience ! im 34 and they collected 23 mature eggs to freeze! Im over the moon thrilled and happy with the result. Glad i didnt watch this video before though because i didnt want to see the needle going into me.. it hurt quite a lot, but i got a good dose of morfin (was awake the whole time) so it went well :) Im home now. gonna recover, a week later celebrate its over and i got 23 eggs i can use up till im 45 years old. it feels like such a good insurance and i feel much more calm now, knowing its ok im single and even if it all goes to hell with relationships then i can still become a single mom with a donor one day probably <3 (but i hope i get a partner and natural pregnancy, then i can donate my eggs)
So you can freeze for 11 years or they indicate until 45 years old because of menopause starting?

I just had my retrieval today. The 11 days of injections was the worst part. Didn’t ever think I would have to do this, but because i just got diagnosed with cancer and have no children, i wanted to save my eggs for the future to one day have a baby. 🙏 Blessed to have had this opportunity. Surgery was quick-like a Power Nap ! Lol

I am, 33yrs old, just got a breast cancer diagnosis, I already have 1 daughter who is 18 months old. she came before this difficult time, but I'm doing the embryo banking for the future ! I did my egg retrieval today 5/9/23 and starting chemo 5/12/23. And yes those last few days of injections and trigger shot gave me cramps up to wazoo. good luck with treatment !

@@mufizashaikh1830 don't be scared. If it's the only option you have, go for it. Trust yourself, be kind to yourself, and don't compare yourself to others. Every one is different. I will have my embro transfer soon.

IVF is immoral. While the end may be good (pregnancy and a child), the means are evil (masturbation, pornography, multiple embryos being created in a petri-dish/test-tube environment of which most are frozen or discarded, etc.) God does not bless sin. And saying this does *not* negate the dignity of life and respect for all those born from the use of such technology. But the ends do not justify the means.
No don't trust vitamin u take bottles hundred it's still doesn't work.. Experience before without vitamin ovum exist but after taking vitamin for many bottles like q10,fish oil,vitamin E,itamin c,vitamin d,folic acid n brand of fortille the ovum sunddenly disappear no eggs..collection of ovum for IVF procedure suddenly not exist...eggs gone because of taking vitamin...don't trust vitamin..n IVF also bullshit..it's all just coincidence!!!u may suffer Everytime taking medicine Jap at ur stomach..it's loosing n changing ur period..!!!!a lot spoilt ur hormone!!

I believe the constipation is from the anesthesia and the bloating is from being constipated.

If a woman ovulates well, why is this wild, painful and old procesos still used?? I can see when I ovulate, it goes out by itself!!! Isn t it good for fecundation?? And why is used that big thing going inside the vagina??!! Surely it could be used something thiner that doesn t hurt. Do scientist and doctors think it must be painful to obtain eggs from a woman?? Couldn t eggs be obtain with a masturbación, just as Men do? Women have an "eyaculation" too.
If you ovulate and implant normally there's a 0% chance this procedure would be recommended lol. Maybe they could make the instrument smaller, not sure about that. Your other ideas are completely unhinged from scientific reality. Humans with uteruses cannot "ejaculate" eggs because their gamete dispensation is regulated by their menstrual cycle, and has nothing to do with orgasm.

Have these women fluids been analysed and seen there are not eggs at all in them? A woman can get pregnate not only the 2 days before or after ovulation , isn't it?
@@sasilha20 Human women do not have their eggs in any bodily fluids. They implant in the uterus during ovulation and can be fertilized then, either by new sperm or some that has been there a few days. Up to 7 days, although that is wildly unlikely. The only time there are any eggs at all in bodily fluids is during menstruation, when the egg has already been completely broken down and is no longer remotely viable. At that point, it passes through the cervix and out of the vagina in a few teaspoons of blood. Like I said, that is long after it's dead. Scientists do analyze the fertility of the woman and man (number of eggs, viability of eggs, sperm count, sperm motility, etc) before IVF is ever recommended.

@@sasilha20 there is a lot of tests being done before you start this. I speak from personal experience I had this done 3 days ago. You are monitored before your period and durinf your period to see if you are healty enough for IVF. Like myself I am healthy and produce eggs but my ovaries wont release them. And that is due to unbalanced hormones.

@@claudiatripi7066 No, that is incorrect. I paid $4500 for the shots and $6500 for the package which include monitoring, blood work, egg retrival and up to two transfers. I paid extra $2000 for them to thaw the embryos seperate the cell freeze it and send it to the lab for genetic testing because we want to pick the gender. Plus $600 to the lab

I have the same thing, ovulation pain
crossing my fingers, starting my IVF hopefully mid this year. wishing myself luck. I can't stand injections, or anything hospital related. I fall into mini depression each time I realize I'll be undergoing this procedure. 😩😩 falling pregnant naturally is such an underrated blessing.

Don’t worry, the needles for the hormonal injections are so thin that you will not feel them at all!

In Greece, they keep you sedated so you are not awake, and don’t feel anything. Not general anaesthesia, just sedated
