Felt so bad for Tybalt just trying to check on his cousin🤣 It’s definitely ramping up with this family now, even when I played them for reals and gave them more money it was tough so really excited to see where this goes. They had another boy for me too, I went with Thomas. Albany had the LTW to marry off 6 children so I always felt so bad that he didn’t have a 6th, but he’d have died by the time they all got married anyway😬 Hal has a broken face template btw so think thats why he looks different when he ages up! I never knew when I started playing with him. I’m sure Goneril will be able to bring in some money now! Looking forward to the next part❤️

I HAVE to download these mods for toddlers! Have you heard of the birds and bees mod? It tells you if your sim is pregnant or not and gives them sentiments about having children, and gives them noodles based on it as well! I love the drama it adds to my game☺️

You can put the rocking horse in your household inventory and I'm fairly sure you can gift other sims stuff from your household inventory when you go through the "give gift" option as a conversation :) And with the car, I think an adult or teenage sim has to hold a toddler while riding in a car, so Beth can't take her own car when she's out with her child alone.

Having 10 kids would be a great episode of Sims 2 on hard mode 😅

has having kids changed the way you play with families or kids at all? When I started working as a nanny I found I changed the way I treated toddlers and started making them more dependent than the game allows them to be

I liked your set up for the Newsons so much that in my new Pleasantview, my first time with clean template, I put the Newson form right on the big hill/mountain after the bridge, with an adjacent farm filed decoration and actually added my own Gloria & George! Memories and all. While they will open my game still alive, they are nearing the end of their lifespan so it wouldn't be too long before the Newson challenge really starts LOL. I would've set them as dead if I wasn't too afraid to do that with SimPE LOL.

Man, you have the _worst_ luck on chance cards in this challenge. I think maybe _one_ of them went well out of all the ones you've gotten. In a couple cases you just picked the "bad" option, but even last Capp video when you picked "turn in the role sheet," you got the 20% chance of getting the bad outcome on the "good" option. I always make Hal a Knowledge Sim in my games; he just gives me the vibe. Also, little heads up: he has one of the broken face templates, so upon hitting adulthood his face is gonna transmogrify unless you're playing in one of the "clean" Veronavilles that fixes him.

I am all caught up and ready for the next episode. I never played Rimworld but it seems so much fun with how detailed it is

Simmers really underestimate how difficult it is to play the sims 2 with NO money. Even my family of 4 got hard difficult because I didn’t have anything to fulfill their needs faster. Like an unmodded game with cheap beds are the absolute worse. Then the cheap fridge and cookware is hard as all get out because they are constantly hungry.

Thank you for the joyful and postive energy - had a not so good day this raised the spirits. Can't remember if Dad found his hobby - maybe he can earn money by selling produce / home business. Not sure if this is feasible because it will make the challange 10 times as hard.

I think a visit from the therapist or social bunny would be -10 yes. 😂 There are at least 2 chance cards that say the sim got fired and then they just get demoted, so it was probably one of those. The college mods have never clashed with anything and I have a lot of mods.

Commenting in again to say that Garrett probably _did_ have the Grow Up Well want, but it fulfilled before his aspiration bar adjusted to the Child life stage, making him gold instead of platinum at the outset. The same thing happened with Georgia if you look closely. The aspiration bar's capacity grows as Sims age, so it takes more and more to fill them up.

Worth pointing out that this quest doesn't grant you two psylink neuroformers along with the fugitive! They only tell you the location of a facility where they are kept (guarded) that you have to raid within 1 year or lose them.

If someone wants to complain about gender stereotyping with regard to Gavin and Ginger, they should be pointing at _the devs._ The devs were the ones who created them with gender-stereotypical aspirations; players who play them according to those aspirations are just working with what was given. I like to change Ginger's aspiration when I get the chance to in college, sort of as a "now that she doesn't have to shoulder parental responsibilities she's in no way ready for at her young age she's finally free to figure out what she really wants in life" narrative. Which brings me to a different point about aspirations: a lot of the premades seem to have aspirations that don't really fit them as a _lifetime_ thing, but more as what they're focused on _right now._ Antonio Monty is a big example of that for me. He wants to discover what happened to his wife, yes, but does that really translate to his life goal being to learn everything there is to know about anything? Character-wise, he always read more Family to me.

Did you set up this 'hood before removing all your mods? If so, that might explain why Tommy has extra days in his Toddler stage. I don't recall him being one of the premade Sims who has a weird lifespan. Speaking of premades with weird life spans, next time you're with the Capps, take a look at Hal and Desdemona's time left in the Child stage, because their Child stage has two fewer days than the default. Also, Editor Comment: The E in "chili con carne" is not silent. Spanish doesn't really do silent E.

I don't think I've ever played this family without dropping a money cheat on them. It just doesn't make sense lore-wise for them to have such a small bank account. Also, some name suggestions for the fifth Capp child, all pulled from my Complete Works of William Shakespeare... Boys: Warwick, Edmund, Marcus, Marshal, Thomas Girls: Emilia, Imogen, Tamora, Rosaline, Helena Finally, as an editor: in the clause, "Miranda's cynical and rebellious," the apostrophe-S isn't a possessive marker, it's a contraction of "is," similar to, well, "it's." So "Miranda's cynical and rebellious" is not a typo, and in fact is absolutely fine grammatically.

A tips for the job promotions are to use the aspiration benefit points on the work tree and get the "Friends in High Places", it makes the friend amount less of a difficulty :)

I never heard of this game before but I really enjoyed it. I love games with lots of details and I might binge :D

Venerated Animas could be bunnies or llamas since the sims loves them

There is an nRass mod that auto saves your game every half hour! I use it and it has been a LIFESAVER! It holds up to 5 saves in the auto save feature and just keeps cycling them (2.5 hours backtrack time is good too when you hit bugs!). I’ve never played showtime so I’m excited to see this gameplay!!! Great video Tea! ❤️

I love how she runs over toddlers and old ladies with the pram. I was watching Emi on the grass, do sims 3 babies move at all? I wish we had prams in the sims 2. Such a great game feature.
