I just updated to 74.00.324A last night with no problems.

My mazda 3 2014 carplay starts to randomly shut off if im driving longer than 30 minutes. Has anyone had this issue and found a fix?

Are you supposed to use flexible ducting for furnace and water heater exhaust?

You can use BRAKE CLEANER to clean the zerks and parts before and after pump the fresh grease that way keep them clean and look nice ( If customers check your work then you are doing good job) kk Good luck!!

I didn't know of this three years ago. Mazda wanted sbout $600 or $695 to update and upgrade to carplay, for my '18 CX 9, got them to update for around $85, then installed the carplay unit, around $200 and two hours time. I just did this update on my daughters' '16 CX5, worked flawlessly. Now to do the hardware upgrade, I have seen that for around $100. good youtube tutorials for that also!

Do you have any experience with stainless steel bottles? I've been looking at Bivo in particular. Plastic always seems to have that problem of smells and tastes sticking around a little longer than they should, especially when I put some sort of electrolyte mix in there.

Managed to update my software from 56 Japan version to 70 NA in my 2016 Mazda CX3 which I imported from Japan. The Japan version did not have an option to change the language to English but this version is already in English. Thanks for the help and support

Your amazon link to the retrofit now shows a P3 and P3.2 (the latter being wireless carplay and wireless android). Would you say these would be safe to install assuming we do the latest firmware install as indicated? I'd rather take advantage of the wireless (no wire upgrade) if it indeed works on the 2016 MX5 ND1

Hey I’m sure your video works for some but I tried doing all the steps you did and it never go to the update bar only to preparing to update screen for an hour and a half. My current version was 53 and I was using the correct Fat32 usb but I had to turn the car on to keep the battery alive and it never went past the screen. My head unit is now bricked so please all be careful im going to be paying a lot to fix this I’m sure

Hi guys, I have the version 59.xx but Japan edition, I can do update to this version ?

I just changed the oil and installed a Fumoto valve on my 2024 ND3 Miata Club at 850 miles and also went with the Pennzoil Ultra Platinum 5w30! I live in North Carolina and didn’t feel comfortable with the 0w30 and wanted to go with a little heavier weight of oil for my area and our heat!

Need to give you props. Following your instructions, I was able to install this in less than 2 hours. A+ would buy from again. <3

June 1st (2024) still working OMG my heart almost about to Stop when started to prepare for updating the screen completely went black i set one minutes inside didn't show anything then come to my room search on Google its said its okay to go black so after 20 minutes I went to check it was about 95%😅 and at the end was showing to turn off and on the Acc to take the change effect i just turned the fan to high then pressed the ignition once after 2 seconds again and off back after 3 minutes everything was done 👍👍👍 On Mazda 3 GS skyactive 2017

Great video and instructions. Thank you. For those wondering if they can upgrade from 51.00.351 directly to 74.00.324, it worked perfectly for me. The installation phase took 25 minutes. To be on the safe side I connected a battery trickle charger.
