Manchmal zeigt er mehr, manchmal weniger an, aber manchmal bleibt er auf Null und bewegt sich nicht.Wo soll ich nach dem Grund suchen, warum hpol so viel und so viel anzeigt? Hey man Cant seem to find the oart 2. Did it ever come up? Have the same issue and the mexhanics want like 800 pouns to swap it out. If the dead pixel fixing is somewhat accessible it would be great. Greetings from Denmark

Thanks for the clear video. Do you know if the mileage is stored in the speedo? If the speedo is not working and you replace it with a used speedo, will it show the original mileage of the car or the mileage from the donor Twingo from which the replacement speedo comes?

We have the same VDO tachometer but our problem is slightly different, a couple of weeks ago the display showed a new alarm ( which does not exist) we have it set to show the engine hours as this is the only information we want from it, when the alarm was flashing we thought that by pressing the button would rectify this issue, to our dismay all it did was to reset the engine hours to zero. How can we bring the engine hours to the correct number? Thanks,

I've got my new lcd ready to fit, gauge is out of car but how the heck do you get the black retaining bezel off? It seems to be pressed on not screwed on. Lever it off? Wont be pretty getting it back on afterwards. Tbh even though it's in my car I have to say it's a poor design, little thought given to future issues like this. Everyone I know who has one of these has had the same problem, the lcd going wrong. A decent item just should not do that

Is it a possibility if I take my cluster out, to repair both the temp and fuel gauges that my key won’t work to turn my car back on? I had a 2008 Audi A3 which I needed to replace a ignition switch and barrel, once i did I had triggered immobilizer and my car never turned on again without needing the dealer to re program my key. So I’m afraid of repairing these little motors and my 2004 3.2 v6 TT not turning on again without having the dealership program my key.

Curious if the lcd display that fits the E38 instrument cluster also fits the radio?

Is the ribbon cable supposed to be sticky on the connecting end? There is a glue type residue on both ends of the ribbon.Can I just clean it with CRC or will that mess up the copper/golden connectors?
