Can I use Roon to simply upscale tracks that I mixed long time ago and not happy with the quality? not for streaming just to upscale my music. doesn't it work for that?

I've roon (promo 50% off) since 2 weeks and I don't know yet how to use it. This video explains nothing... Example : "what you see on this mac is exactly the same as the remote"...and ? what does it mean ??

The roon is more than perfect audio player, it is an interesting magazine, a carefully engineered window to the world of music. The roon arc is just like the dark side of shiny mine roon application. In short: the roon arc unable neither to configure network, no diagnose it. Even if you was lacky enough to have an internet provider, that can to support a roon arc connection to roon server, you steel need to setup that connection manually. And still, there are internet providers, that roon arc just isn't working with. My previous provider stopped to support private clients, and I was forced to move to another internet company. With first prowider I spent a time to manually set up the port forwarding, now, with new provider I spent several days trying forwarding ports, DMZ, and disabling interfaces and disabling firewall with no result. At the same time NAS and private cloud, and sharing working perfect using just UPnP without manually tuned ports, routes and so on.

Does all this info automatically get received when importing the music files

most of all the other information is useless for me...I just like to listen to the music...so why is Roon better than Tidal❓and besides that, some of that information is already within Tidal? I'm not looking into taking a college course about the artist or song...It seems like just extra money wasted after already having Tidal❓show us Tidal users why we would want roon❓

The Apps are just “remotes”? Music data travels from Core to the Roon ready players directly?

Io non uso più un PC, ho provato ad installare su smartphone samsung note20 ultra 5G, non riesco nemmeno a farlo funzionare, poi troppo complicato pure per disdire la prova. Mi domando sè poi mi serve veramente...😊 Non posso dire nulla sulla qualità a questo punto... Delusione

Love ARC. However, more work is needed. Especially for Car Play. When ARC is my music source on my phone, I can't press the Talk to start Siri and make a call, it doesn't allow me to do that.. If I switch to Apple Music, it works fine. Additionally, when listening to ARC and a call comes in, I answer, but when the call completes, ARC does not go back to playing the music I was listening to when I initially received the call. Apple Music works fine. It may be Apple doesn't allow another music app to behave the same way as Apple Music, it is called "Apple Car Play" after all. If they could fix these 2 issues, It would be a much more seamless experience. Again, love Roon and ARC's capabilities to take my HiFi music library mobile.. Fix these issues and it will be ever better.

I use a cheap Beelink micro pc i picked up off Amazon for a c note. Runs rock just fine.

So you showed me a mini computer without a hard drive. Please help me understand why this product is geared towards audio (hi-fi components?) when we can purchase either an i5 or i7 Intel Nuk with 16gb RAM and a 512gb SSD for less than the price of this alone? I love your software but just not so sure about the premium price of your hardware.

They could have included streamer functionality via usb or coax like in the ROCK (intel NUC).

Great job, guys! Arc was one of the main reasons that I joined Roon and I'm so happy that it's becoming a great app.

nice concept program to have your music in a server and access it from everywhere however stupid support/no support on how to connect ,how to port forward . My router and roon arc does not work ,is not connecting and i stopped 2 times my subscription .Support from roon : you will connect(never happens ). if you study rocket science and computers for 5-6 years maybe you can manage to connect to roon arc ... the main issue for stopping my subscription roon arc cannot connect to port 55000. maybe the owners of roon app manage to connect roon arc and we are all proud of them and of course they can pay a subscription

Unfortunately Roon is too expensive for me. As a such it has the potential to serve the elite but not the average guy. Sorry, but it seems the digital revolution is now separating people in classes again...

I hope AI will some day in the near future localize Roon available in more languages and can retrieve data for lesser known artists and composers.

Lifetime member here, and I'm so thankful for all that Roon does. I do have a request to the team though… it would be great to be able to have multiple windows of Roon open so that the album/playlist you are listening to remains in full view (with all the tracks and such) but when venturing down the rabbit hole (that Roon is so good at) it would open in another window or tab so you could explore all you want without having to navigate back to the current album being played. Perhaps I've missed something here and this is already possible, but I've not seen how yet. One additional request would be to have the ability to start a playlist on a chosen song (buried deep in the playlist perhaps) and start the shuffle from there. What happens is that it only shuffles the 'remaining' tracks beneath the song and not the entire playlist. Many times I have an itch to hear a certain song right away, then don't care what plays next… hence the shuffle. This is how shuffle works on Spotify, for example. Cheers, and keep up the fantastic work!

Why did ROON remove the ability to listen to local files when the internet is down.? In other words, I have music files on a hard drive and suddenly I lose the internet. Those local files are no longer accessible to me. Ridiculous
