Honda Prelude: How to install Seibon carbon fiber hood
In this video I finally get to install the Seibon carbon fiber hood on the Honda prelude. I explain and show how to remove the OEM hood and how to install the carbon fiber hood. The OEM Honda prelude hood is very heavy so even though this changes the look of the car it also has some performance gains because it’s reducing weight. Next I will show you guys how to install the hood pins since it’s required for safer reasons to help keep the hood from opening while driving. Thanks for watching

Brother, I’ve been having that issue for a whole year and nothing new with the thermal valve. It had nothing to do with the idle air control valve and once I replaced every single thing, the knock sensor code was the only thing that popped up. I literally just bought one and I’m going to install it when I get home. I know your frustration, brother. I got a nice Paul Walker paint job our 34 and then this happened and I’m like great and the H22 is very sensitive.

If you have a radiator funnel kit it should help with bleeding in general and you can the bubbles more clearly. This is what I do when I bleed the system for any reason.

Thanks for the video. Unfortunately my 2.2L 1997 Prelude's IACV doesn't look anything like the IACV in this video. In fact I can't even track down a replacement IACV for my Prelude. I just had the engine rebuilt and it runs great except the idle which is rough and jumpy. Could be TPS or O2 sensors, but more likely the IACV. Getting a little freaked out by the fact that I can't find a replacement or locate a mechanic to clean my particular IACV.

It was tough but you can remove it with a flat head screwdriver. You have to find where the ends connect to each other like on a jewelry chain. The new filter should bring a new spring clamp. To connect it you should just wrap it around the intake hose and connect both ends and make sure it's in the correct position on the intake hose.
