I have a large pantry and I value keeping it stocked, but it's not as organized as I'd like. I like to eat a variety of foods and try new recipes so I have a hard time knowing what to store. I don't know how people think that getting ready for potty is essential, but using a dummy at 2 years old is fine! Also, encouraging a child to do something by offering sweets and juices is not healthy at all!

Hello! I trained my 2 tear old daughter for 5 days following your video and 3 day potty training book by Lora Jensen. But we are not succeeding. She is making a lot of accidents nd never peeping on her potty. I can't see any signs before her peeping but we can finish pooping on the potty when she already starts it on her pants🤧🤦‍♀️ I am wondering how long this can last😢

Great information in video day number 1 was awful the second day my 2 year old used the potty 5 times the 3rd day today was awful. It's horrible because she understands but just doesn't want to.

How is your 2 yo able to take off underwear himself or even dump the nunber 2 in the toilet himself? What do I need to do to make that happen?? Need guidance.....

I ask my parents and grandparents how they potty trained, and this exact method is what they told me. They didn't specifically give me a video or refer me to this method in general, but they told me this is what they did when I and my mom was a baby. I was trained within a week, and my son is 25 months on day 6 of training and he shows signs he needs to go potty, he goes up to the bathroom himself while going up to the toilet, and he has less accidents every day. It's a good method. We don't use stickers, fancy drinks, or candy (processed foods), though. He loves water. We give high-fives and fist-bumps or give him a toy we hid away.

Next time, I highly recommend visiting the Aspen area - specifically Maroon Bells. Great views and several family friendly trails. Also, there is the Rio Grande bike trail that runs all the way to Glenwood Springs (40 miles) - so worth doing once your kids are a bit older.

With all the details included, I'm shocked that mealtimes were never shown/ addressed. Literally in day 1 right now, and very confused about what to do during mealtimes- I started heating up pre-made food after an accident so I thought we would have a longer window without pee. But he still went pee in his high-chair, but because of the tray I didn't see it. I bought the Lora Jenson book, but no mention of how to handle this. Hopefully we can stick this out for the 3 days.

Omg, no hate here, but why do we need to make such a big deal. That is definitely not practical for busy parents. I did not have time myself as I had to go back to work shortly after my maternity leave had been over. Good it was the nursery staff that sorted this out in a great way. I wonder what people used to do 100 years back!?
