honestly, I wouldn't call it micro, or tiny for that matter and 18mm isn't an insubstantial amount of length. I'd call it perfectly sized.

if you dont care too much about video or are ok with 1080p60 there is no reason to go for the zv-e10 over the a6000. the a6000 still has the same great sensor. I would not spend $300 more just to get the zv-e10. would rather spend the extra money on better lenses. at 300 vs 600 for the a6000, there is no debate if you dont need video........

Hey I just bought a used Sony A5100 16-50mm Interchangeable Lens camera with 3inch Flip Up LCD… but because it’s used, it came with no memory card. What’s a good memory card I can get for this camera? I’m trying to use mainly for streaming and possibly filming CZcams videos too. 🙃 please help.

I've owned my A6000 + 16-50 for a couple of months now, and I've mostly been using a vintage 50mm 1.8 prime to photograph my friends during gatherings (low light), but I find it's a tad tight. I'd also like to take my camera traveling more; Would it be better to complement my 16-50 with a sigma 30mm 1.4, or the 18-50 f2.8?

For entry, it's better to get a used Sony a5100 with half the price of a6000, after you become a pro get a nicer camera. Do not spend more than $200, i got mine for 175

Anyone having issues being able turn off the flash in M, A or S shooting modes? I am stuck with a max shutter speed of 1/160 as the a5100 thinks it needs to be in flash sync mode.

Dus it have a green ting and lo contrast and satuation?

Hey Aaron, not sure you find the time to respons.. I have the Sony a5100 and the timelaps app is no longer available.. I downloaded a alternative and it works great, but the problem I have is that each photo has a slightly different exposure.. I turned of all automations and used the Manual setting, but the problem is stil present.. That way I cant really make good time lapses since the colours/expsure variate throughout the film.. Any ideas how to fix this? Thank you Simon

It’s not a miracle. On an A6700 My copy has squirrelly AF unless the light is good. Won’t shoot sharp unless shutter is fast (<1/100th) which baffles me as my Sigma 18-50 shots beautifully at 50mm/2.8 at 1/30th. It’s not great in low light, which is why I bought it. Give it lots of light and it’s a good bokeh machine but otherwise thoroughly meh (min focus distance is bad, the lens hood is weird, try using a filter or polarizer on it. No dice).

Hey Arron what lense could be good for car photography?

How does new budget lens like this work with the a5100?

I try to change back to using kit lens. So i have 2 option of kit lens. 1) 16-50mm 2) 18-55mm. So after see review and try using both lens. What i can conclude is. I choose 18-55mm. I know its an old lense. And the autofocus is a bit struggle than 16-50. But. For sharpness. 18-55 win. And it has 5mm optical more to zoom. The sharpness from 16-50mm to me still soft. Especially when go to 50mm. I hope, one day, sony can make new version 18-55mm. I really recommend this lense over 16-50 pancake lens.

PLEASE HELP!!! I used a tt artisans prime lens on the sony zv-E10, and now when I switch back to kit lens, it wont work! It wont zoom, it wont autofocus and I cant even change the focus mode cos its just STUCK at manual focus!!! Any solutions???

Great review! I already own a 7Artisans lens and I'm pleased with the quality of the photos I take while using it. Now adding an autofocus feature makes it even more attractive to me.
