I bought my ZV-E10 a few days ago and gladly find your very helpful and easy explaining videos👍🏻. On the Sony website there is the second update option called ZV-E10L as shown also in your video. I have bought the vlog bundle version. What version of the update do I have to choose?

When I download the software update, all that is downloaded is a letter file that I can't open. Any idea what's happening?
Pro tip: I had my Sony a6000 software update done at the Sony shop free of charge.

It looked like you are upgrading via a Windows computer. I’ve heard there are challenges using a Mac. Any thoughts on that? Great video!

I used the wrong cable by accident and the firmware failed and now my camera wont turn on. Even after trying to reset and use new batteries or dummy battery, I just get a red light and camera wont even turn on now. Any suggestions?

What will be the difference between the update?
It depends on the camera you're updating. For the ZV-E10, the camera I use in this example, the updates are -
Makes the Eye AF feature compatible with animals when recording a movie
Fixes an issue where the Touch Shutter may not work
Improves the operational stability of the camera
Sony makes solid sensors and camera, but their customer service and their apps are just AWFUL. The Mac updater is absolutely broken--have tried on multiple computers (why we can't download direct to camera or put the update on an SD card like we used to is beyond me).
And god help you if you buy one of their tvs (it last just over the year's warranty) then you are left to no reputable repair service. it's a nightmare. Never buy one of their oled tvs.
But Still No Help For Linux Users..
