Love the new video! And I love to see that Christine and the litte baby are doing well. The garden is going to look lovely when it's blooming. Christine said she has a dream about wanting to plant a climbing flower/plant beside the door. I don't know if it's possible in the area where you live, but maybe a wisteria plant? We have a few in our garden here and it smells amazing when they bloom!

seeing the drilling process and that giant compressor was actually really cool. You have a beautiful artisanal spring water! But you gotta divert it somewhere better otherwise your whole driveway will be gone. At the moment, it really seems like you are very negative. I can't imagine Christine was happy either.

Frog legs for dinner! ( Since you didn't catch enough fish 😉). Please tell your wife to eat a lot of protein , and iron rich foods ( preferably cooked in an old seasoned iron skillet. This helps to enrich her blood). Greens, eggs, salmon, sardines...all iron rich foods. God bless your family 🙏

I forgot to add - cut the ties to the bamboo. The tree will do better with not being tied to a post during the fairer months (again stunts the growth). Being blown in the breeze stimulates the cells to grow. Stake well for winter - thicker supports by then. I lived in the mountains in BC Canada for a long time.

Beautiful family in a beautiful area. It's really important to tease up the roots, even cut and loosen them apart to stimulate new growth, because they may well stay coiled in the root bound position from being in the pot for so long, and the tree will be stunted and not thrive. Make sure you bury it to the same level is it was before (ie not more shallow), otherwise if it's grafted it will sprout from the root stock - not what you want. All the best. :)

Kalle, I do not know where you are sitting at 8:15 in the video, but the 'hängrännor och stuprör' are shortening the lifespan of the structure. You should take the stupör all the way to the ground and then direct the water away from the house. Poor roof design, and especially the gutters and downspouts can really shorten the lifespan of a log home. This is completely off-topic, so the above was what I really wanted to let you know. I have quite an interesting life story about my career. I have been designing and building handcrafted log homes for over 50 years. In the last 25 years if have discovered that in four of the last five generations, the oldest son has become a log builder and carpenter. The only generation it skipped was my dad. It may go back even farther than that. I simply have not gotten back that far yet. I have found that min farfar, min farmors far och hannes far were all 'timmermänare och snickare.' No one in the family knew any of this until a fellow log builder told me he was restoring a log home in Seattle that was to become a museum. In our conversation, I asked if they knew who built the house. About two minutes later David said, "Oh, they know the builder, it was some old Swede." I told him I was mostly Swedish and asked if they knew the fellows name. David said, "Yeah, some old guy named Anton Borgen." Anton was min farmors far! That lead me to discover all the rest of my history as one of a long line of Swedish log builders. I cannot say that reincarnation exists, but if it does, It would explain a whole lot about my life. Two years ago I bought a farm near Älgered, Sweden not too far south of you and I am in the process of moving my business to Sweden

Lovely video, welcome back :) Also like the new chapter in all ways :) Nice garden! Someone planted a climbing flower / plant against a wooden house. The reaction was an endless chain of "don't, it will destroy the wall". Never hurts to ask about how to do it safely. It would certainly be pretty!

I think you need another pear tree. The gardening website I checked says, “It is advisable that two varieties of pears be planted since cross-pollination will be required to produce fruits. However, the two types must be compatible with each other.” Hopefully that garden center has another pair tree for you. Good luck!
