It's not too bad, just the mounts because the gearbox is on the opposite side, so either the conversation mounts are best and easiest! or on the cheap you could drill out the spot welds from a ep3 chassis and swap them in but that's a lot of work, also the abs stuff gets in the way a bit. If you want to use stock ep3 ecu you'll need to immobiliser coding (what we did initially) but really you want to go aftermarket ECU like hondata then disable immobiliser in there. Also either way you need to swap some pins around in the ep2 chassis harness so they match the k20 engine loom and wire up a relay for the O2 sensors pre heat. I've got some guides for this somewhere if you need them let me know. And I'm pretty sure we had to get ep3 subframe/hubs/brakes and think we used the ep3 front suspension while we was at it. And make a hard-line to extend the clutch cylinder lines. It's a lot to do but not bad if you've done stuff before

@jameswil legend mate thank you so much for replying and yeah if I could have those guides that would be great picked up an engine for 200 with loom and ecu so got a bargain car needs a new subframe as corroded so ideal for a k20 one anyway

@@marcusjamil3274 Ahh that's good then, so you've got k20a3 or A2? We started with A3 with some mount I welded up to get it goin on the cheap and then went to after market mounts and k24, it was a beast but the engines out now waiting to go in my s13 once I get my current project done. How would you like me to send the guide pics for wiring? I'll help out where i can if you hit any problems, I've even got a tune I made for the k20a3 for hondata if you go that way 😁 mild on timing but still ripped, one with overrun pops if your in to that too but it gets annoying after a bit haha

On the part that you adjust, it had two bolts holding that part on, if you take those out and pull the cover off, the spring is inside. I just bought a new pack of three and replaced mine with the red one and put it back together

Emanuel Guzman don't know, pretty sure it's stock pipe, maybe with the baffels removes, backfiring was mainly due to carb needing a clean really

Cheers dude. Would of enjoyed seeing it go from a green spring to a red haha #lethal I'll have a play with mine, not fitted it yet and I cant ride on road, so it's not easy testing and setting it up

Daveyboy Ahh that's true, what kind of off road do you do? Red spring really snapped the power band on and breaks traction easy off road, it will be fine but just learning curve haha

selludeddu thanks for the comment, yeah it's hard to show the difference on video but you can definitely feel the difference, it makes the bike more snappy but you get used to it

A Person do you know something... That same bottle has what's left from that day still in it, in the bottom draw of my tool box... It's still fine and it's been in there over 6 years. Let me know if you would like photographic proof if you care that much I'll show you it's still intact.

james kilner it's a public park, we had previously spoken to the park keepers which told us to stay off a certain section where they had been planting seeds and told us the stay off the new bowling green. But basically do whatever we like with the rest of the park. Compared to the graffiti, vandalism, drug paraphernalia being left in the kids play area and off road bikes tearing up everything. I'm sure we didn't really do any harm...

Alexandros Sotiropoulos I'm not sure to be honest, I haven't had any problems with hard or late breaking doing any harm to the engine. I'm guessing the clutch disengages once the rpm is low enough. This engine ended up having a air leak on the carb once due to wear. But is still running fine now with a replacement carb, plenty of gallons through her. I always wanted a buggy, was looking at the hyper 7 or 8 I think. Can't remember now but they seem like fun.

jameswil Yes. the buggy I have is surely the hyper 7.and with the nosram it runs quickly with a lot of smoke. Probably the air leak is from worn o rings on the carb. I scarcely run her though, mosr of the time i have her with after run oil.

Alexandros Sotiropoulos my carb leak was scratches on slider unfortunately so I replaced the whole part. I can imagine a buggy would be fast with a nosram. I mean mine was good in a truck haha. I need to get my trucks out again, it's been a while

classic cars it's premixed nitro. But yes is was running rich on the high speed needle. I didn't take my screw driver to adjust, was just a bash about haha no harm done it's better than if it was lean
