    wasdu hier ablieferst ist plakativ für alle werbe affen auf YT. für die strecke und deine fahrweise brauchst du nicht einmal ansatzweise diesen vorderreifen. jeder AM reifen irgend eines herstellers würde für das gelände und vor allem für deine fahrweise genügen. was du und deines gleichen den teilweise unwissenden zusehern vermittelst das man für deinen fahrstil und diesen untergrund einen grobstolligen reifen mit downhill karrkasse braucht. damit wird nichts anderes erreicht außer das bike aufgrund des hohen rollwiderstands des reifens langsam zu machen. letztendlich geht esnur darum kohle zu machen und idioten werbung zu betreiben. das sich dann viele zuseher durch ihre unwissenheit an das video anlehnen und sich reifen montieren die sich nicht brauchen und ihr spass am rad durch die reifen vernichtet wird, weil sie einen rollwiderstand wie ein panzer haben.

    How do you like your Kona Process 134? I just picked one up for a really good deal as well! Like 45% off! Then found a crazy deal on a Fox Factory DPX-2! I'm excited to see how it does this season. I was nervous that i made a mistake buying the Kona at first, but i think it'll be a great bike. Fox Factory 34 will likely be my next upgrade to the bike.

      Kona Process is amazing. So many things they got right on the process line. External cable routing, single pivot with consistent leverage curve, burley pivots. I've got a 153 and a 134. They're both great bikes.

    @mytoyota80 Před 3 měsíci

    I upgraded to Fox 34 Factory and It's perfect for the trails we have here and by the way it was a closed out deal so I had to get it. It's lighter and has like 14-16 clicks on the Low Compression setting which I really love versus my RS 35 Gold Moco 6 clicks which I barely see the difference.

    I upgraded a used Rockshox Revelation 130, into a Pike Ultimate 140mm (same chassis, different guts) for way less than half price of what a new fork would have gone for. It doesn't have the nicely finished crown and lower legs as a pike ultimate, but the innards work the same. If you know what models are interchangeable, you can really game the Rockshox fork ecosystem....

    • @18cjosh
      @18cjosh Před 3 měsíci

      Pike Ultimate is honestly the best performing fork I’ve ever used. I have a 140mm on my Revel Tirade and another on a Canfield Nimble 9 Single Speed build and they are amazing. I much prefer RockShox to Fox for overall ease of use and performance in general.

    Picked up a status 140 from a dealer 1.5hrs away bc none were in stock near me. Right away had problems with the dropper post not wanting to go down. Took it to a local Specialized dealer and got a lot of push back about submitting a warranty claim…. They tried to tell me it was normal. Eventually had to pay them $30 to “process” the claim for me. 3 weeks later, the dropper is back (and better but still not perfect) but my first experience with the brand and their retailers was a huge turn off.

    Digging this up from the archives. Great review. Been eyeing one of these up for a long time. Buying second-hand as new lead times are still months away. Which makes sizing a bit hard. I'm 5'9" on a good day, normally ride medium, my last enduro bike was an Altitude that was around 435/440 reach and felt perfect. I can't imagine riding a large in this model with 470 reach, though this seems like the trend. Even commencal's metas in the medium are long. Im sure longer is great for wide open park runs, but for some tight and twisty trails etc, I feel 'normal' reach might be better? How did this medium feel on you?

    • @EverydayMTB
      @EverydayMTB Před 2 lety

      Here was my thoughts on the reach. "The shorter reach and steep seat tube angle combination made the bike feel a bit too cramped for my liking... The steep seat tube angle meant that seated climbing was enjoyable without any front wheel wandering. When thinking about the climbing and fast downhill sections found in Crested Butte, the La Sal Peak struck me as a bike and suspension platform that would be best suited to someone who is looking for a longer travel trail bike that they’ll be pedaling up hill a lot of the time. I wouldn’t characterize the La Sal Peak as in any way not capable on fast downhill sections, but it seems to be biased more to turning the cranks while riding." - everydaymtb.com/fezzari-la-sal-peak-ride-review/
