If you ever go again, I highly recommend pork chop. it has several optional jumps and berms.
What would be the specific address of this bike trail?like the parking area?thank you
@@thegnarlycyclist1091 2740 Fitchrona Rd, Fitchburg, WI 53711 will bring you the lot where you can park to get into the trail system. inorder to get to the main trailhead you'll have to take a small trail that is kinda tucked away on the right side past the bathrooms and picnic tables.
These are like my home trails (I live about a 10 minute ride away). Glad you enjoyed them!
I am an hour from this park, but I make the trip over to Madison to enjoy these great trails once a week in the summer. Never gets old. Hit The Trail!
Im in jefferson county. Looks like i found a new destination. Thanks for a great review.
Great edit! I subbed!
Good stuff! Great perspective.... be well man 👊
Cool video, dude. I was just at Quarry Ridge myself a few weeks ago while the ground was frozen. I'll have my own video coming out soon from my day there.
Sick video
Just found you channel on Reddit, this is great work. Subbed and liked right away. As a MTB CZcamsr myself, I would tell anyone this is great work. Cheers!
Great video! Not sure where you're located, but you should come check out Sylvan Hill in Wausau, WI if you want to check out more of a bike park/DH type thing. It was brand new last year and hasn't gained too much notoriety outside the area yet. Nine Mile County Forest is close to there too which is nice set of XC trails with some technical rocky stuff mixed with more flowy stuff in places.
Thanks! Have a video of Sylvan in the works! One of our favorite places to ride. It's a 3 hour drive for us so we don't get there as often as we would like.
Everyday MTB nice! I just got back into riding this year after a long hiatus. Sylvan is only 35 minutes from me so it's been our place of choice lately. I'll keep an eye out for your video!
Great video! I recently returned to Wisconsin after living many years in Texas where I picked up mountain biking as a hobby. I was thinking about creating content on my channel similar to yours for the Wisconsin / Great Lakes region. Are you based in the area as well? Currently I only have a couple videos from a local trail in Texas and my first full suspension ride down in South America (Colombia). I like the format a lot how you display the trail names and difficulty ratings.
What camera do you use for filming your rides? I really need to upgrade my OG GoPro Hero I. I was thinking about picking up a hero 7 for the FPV and possibly a DJI Osmo for some cinematic shots.
Great video keep up the good work!
I'm no longer in the midwest, now based out west. You can see my current camera setup here everydaymtb.com/my-300-mountain-biking-gimbal-setup/
Did anyone else just look at the blue thingy the whole vid
I live right by Quarry Ridge. You can take the bike path over to Seminole Trail as well from there for a few more miles of trail. Checkout www.madcitydirt.com/ for trail conditions and maps of other area trails.
Does anyone know the kettle moraine trails? John muir was fun but looking for a little more action
I ended up in your youtube from your web searching for best budget mtb gimbals. And It turned on you're using yi lite too. It is nice, the gimbal. But for me the late pixel that generate squary view (kinda noise) when you turn fast is not too good. Gopro 7 black and you don't need gimbal. Great video tho.
Great video! Where are you going next? Camrock is a lot of fun and blackhawk has the best downhill flow trails (though you need a membership)
ecmpave got a bunch more videos waiting for editing! Alpine valley, little switz, pleasant valley and more! Thanks for the suggestions!
I’m just starting to get in to mountain biking. I went to quarry park today actually. When was this footage taken? April?
Yeah it was early in the year. I think some things may be slightly different now with all the rain they've gotten.
Everyday MTB ok thank u so much. I thought rewind was very hard on your legs, the climb is so intense. Also love your sons channel.
It's been a while since you've posted. Don't tell me you quit making vids. :-(
I go there too
R the trails technical and big jumps I ride at barids creek and reforestation camp
The trails are very progressive. You can choose your level of difficulty. It is well mapped so you won't get over your head too easily.
Features get rebuilt and added at Quarry Ridge all the time. Porkchop, built last year, is a flowy downhill trail with some optional big jumps. Sandy Bowl has a ton of options, including several natural rock drops.
Shit I’m gonna have to grab mine and go sometime
Those are super fun trails, I can't wait to go back and try them again.
