Horton Technique with Olivia Nidaud 🤩❤️
Olivia is improvising, which is an important part of the modern dance technique developed by Lester Horton :)
Olivia Nidaud is a French professional dancer, model and Horton Technique specialist originally from Martinique Island and based in Paris.
She started classical ballet at six years old in Martinique and has fallen in love with dance ever since.
Nidaud graduated from The Institut de Formation Rick Odums in Paris, where she discovered the Horton Technique with Magalie Verin, an Ailey School graduate and founder of Corpo M' Company. She then continued her professional training at the prestigious Ailey School in New York City in the Certificate Program focusing on the Horton Technique, amongst other dance styles such as classical ballet, Graham Technique, jazz and contemporary. Olivia studied the Horton Technique in-depth for many years with world-acclaimed teachers such as Milton Myers, Elizabeth Roxas-Dobrish, Ana Marie Forsythe… Learn more about Olivia and our Virtual Summer Intensive Faculty at:
