MY ABSOLUTE FAVORITE SONG BY THEM HANDS DOWN ~ THE BACKGROUND VOCALS ARE IMPECCABLE ~
MR CASSIDY HELPED ME WITH MY VOCAL APPROACH AND THOSE BACKGROUND VOCALIST : THE BAHLER BROTHERS{JOHN AND THOMAS} RONALD HICKLIN, JACKIE WARD, SHIRLEY JONES AND DAVID CASSIDY TAUGHT ME HARMONY STRUCTURE AND I'LL BE FOREVER GRATEFUL ~
Shirley Looks like She was having a Blast. The Sexiest Woman of the Time and Still looks Great Now
Forgot how David's voice was
R.I.P. Chester love the voice
And I thought this was a Voice of the beehive song
What horrible filming. They had all these odd shots during some of the key moments if the song
My forever crush such talent and beauty rarely come together that beautiful voice .❤️❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕❤️💕💕💕❤️💕❤️❤️❤️❤️💕❤️
who was Shirley's B.F.?
From "Star Quality" & "Go Directly To Jail". FOOT NOTE: Dianne Hilderbrand also teamed up with Wes Farrell to write the Season 1 theme song "When We're Singin'".
PARTRIDGE FAMILY FOREVER!!!
I❤😢😊
Just heard this song on the radio for the first time in a few years and it reminds me of my cousin Jonathan that used to ride back and forth with me to work when we worked at Target together. Whenever this song came on the radio because I listened to the oldies Channel he would reach up and turn the volume up as loud as he could and start singing along with the song. Every time he would do it he would say don't you tell anyone how much I like this song. Now that he's no longer with us and I miss him very much this song was one of his guilty pleasures and he loved it and I just can't hear it without thinking about him.
I’d roll in the hay with Susan Dey. 😉
Great episode too!
Wait who is playing all the violins?
Oh yah baby Rick
I was 13 years old at this time, when this song was a hit right around the time of the February 9th, 1971 Sylmar Earthquake.
It was a great song. One of my favorite 1970s songs, from 1971.
She was a real karen
I’m here after watching Scream 2 😂
I used to watch that show when I was a kid back in the 70s weather great times
Shirley partridge was🔥🔥wish she was my mother
Great song
David Cassidy you are very missed. RIP sweet man. Thank you for your beautiful voice and the joy you spread throughout the world ❤
We all fell in love with David Cassidy, how could we not? He was so beautiful to look at and that voice ohhh❤❤
Ah yes the beautiful David Cassidy 😍RIP sweet man ❤
Still and will always be my first crush 😍❤ RIP sweet man
Also, Shirley Jones was married to David's father Jack Cassidy, who was also a Singer. All those rumors about Shirley and David were All False. I watched them every day along with The Monkees and Gilligan's Island.. I'm ready to go back to the late 60's and 70's
You forgot to mention the singing contribution of Shirley Jones.
People either forger or don't know David's immense worldwide popularity had his concerts rivaling even Elvis's
That smiling guy in the background with the white shirt is really into the song's swing!
I haven't seen this is 50 years? How old am I? !!! But, that outfit Shirley has on surprises me, because I am thinking that it is only the last 10 years that women wore outfits like this on TV. And odd choice of song for a group of apparently sick children-but that's all cool. I loved this show. I watched these shows between the time my mom died and my dad died. I was 11 and 13. And it kinda hurts still, it brings up good times but hard times as well. Thanks Partridge Family
This has been one of my favorite PF songs since it was released. I just noticed recently in this video how happy both David and Shirley seem to be. I know it was their job to appear that way, but I think that there's something extra. Shirley always has a sparkle in her eyes. I love them both so much. RIP David....God bless you, Shirley.
I am 72, and I hear DC singing and I an 22 again!!
BEAUTIFUL SONG. David was a very talented singer.
This song ranks right up there with 🎶Sweet Caroline🎶
So happy I grew up in the 70’s and 80’s. Watched every episode of this show growing up.
Have a happy and safe memorial day weekend anywhere that you may be traveling on the road.
I was so going to marry him when I get older. So good to hear them again since eons ago.
I admit it. I had all of their records. Cassidy was plastered on my bedroom wall.
Yep
Me too can sing by heart
Dude, 240P really?
We've come a long way since late 2007 when this was uploaded, it looks like it was filmed with a potato, but it serves it's purpose lol
Wonderful 😊*
Always thought the little tamborine girl would rather be somewhere else.
Growing up I watched the partridge family all the time absolutely awesome and terrific 😊
