I’ve just graduated uni and I want to move to Egypt to start my Quran and Arabic journey because I am 23 and rn I have completed juz amma. However l would be on my own and that is very scary. What would you recommend for girls my position. Marriage isn’t really an option because I don’t think I’m ready and my parents would be unhappy. jazakallah khair ❤

😊mashaallah brother that's great and may Allah make it easy for you. You can hit 2 birds with 1 stone but make hijrah For Allah first then if you find the lady you want alhamdulillah. You can have accès to brother groups as well.they will direct you towards that inshaallah.

Is it easy for a male foreigner to marry in Egypt ?, because I am planning a Hijra to Egypt with two intentions to seek knowledge and to get a spouse might somali or any other national, but I think marrying an Egyptian will not be easy. I was in Egypt between 2017 and early 2020 as a student. During this period, I could afford all common items. Now that I left about 4 years ago, I keep hearing a lot going on revolving around economic hardship majorly, with its ripple effects felt in other facets of life/living. I still want to go back to Egypt, but.....huh.....I hope things get better before I return.

Thank you for speaking about this sis. I feel like safety for (mainly foreigner) females right now is becoming a big issue. I recently had an Uber driver who had very rude and aggressive behaviour - I reported him to Uber but disappointingly I haven’t heard back from them. Also, lots of my friends in Egypt have been facing some harassment sort of harassment and we’re now all extremely hyper vigilant about our safety. Because there’s been too many cases now I have a theory that there is a certain group of people working together with the same methods to carry out crimes. May Allah protect us all آمين It’s a real shame considering we are in a Muslim country but Allahu musta’an. Note to sisters: if your delivery drivers/Uber drivers contact you somehow and ask for ANY details DO NOT GIVE IT. They have everything they need to do their job on the app. If they get ahold of even your phone number, they will call/text/WhatsApp you from soo many different numbers to try to get information from you to find your location. Especially when these twisted people realise a bunch of females live alone together, you need to be verrrrry careful. Please note though for the most part الحمدلله myself as a sister alone in Egypt, I feel safe for the most part. Just that recently there’s been a few scares BUT there are ways to protect yourself which you will need to do. Your morning & evening adhkar cannot be missed. Also, personally I’ve found that if you wear the correct hijab (which includes niqab of course) it literally protects you sooo much from men. Carry pepper spray with you JUST IN CASE. If you’ve come here for a noble cause e.g. seeking knowledge or hijrah, don’t let this deter you. Allah will be with you as your helper. Make abundant dua.

Definitely would like to add/recommend the apps Pink Taxi and Female Passanger for female taxi drivers!! Same thing as Uber and Indrive but a little more expensive sometimes depending on where you are going. Definitely feels waaay more safer and the drivers i've traveld with have been a bunch of very nice ladies!🩵 May Allah protect all of our sisters from evil and harm, Allahumma amiin ya rabbi🩵🤲🏽
