I don't think ARB has brackets for tubular racks, I've only seen brackets for flat T-Rail systems. Which is why I went with GZilla, they have simple C clamps that bolt together and they have various sizes to accommodate most tubes. My second option would have been GOBI, the manufacturers of my roof rack, as they make mounts for various uses as well.

Nitrous?! on a 4.0?! That's wild & I dig it 😎 what nitrous system did you use? I was thinking about a twin turbo setup but I feel a supercharger would be better for a more consistent power band, but that's without having considered nitrous.

I have zex Nitrous kit. There is also Nitrous outlet they have amazing support. I am going to Supercharge hopefully next year. ​@@wildindave

Currently on stock exhaust. Only upgrades so far is K&N cold air, scotidi angle kit, and pedders suspension coil over kit.

I'm barely starting out with simple upgrades like the tune/intake combo, but that alone has changed the demeanor of my Mustang. It finally sounds like a legit sports car compared to its factory tune, and someone else just vouched for the JLT tunes in my comments, so I'm sure the upgrades you mentioned will be a great fit for your Mustang. Yes, fortunately, this kit comes with a factory oiled filter. I can show the process of oiling the filter DIY soon, will be giving the car a big refresh.

There's definitely heftier options, I prefer the slimmer stealthy look, so I got these. After a year in use, mine has not faded at all. This product is not painted, but metal coated in black, so there is no fade, and it is scratch resistant. As for the rust, my bolts are also prestine, and that's because the material is aluminum alloy. I go to the beach often, so I'm actually surprised they are spotless compared to other gear i have. The only place I did see rust forming is in the screw that hinges the step in place, but it's quite minimal. I have gotten comments that the step broke on them, so weight is definitely an issue. I weigh 150 lbs and my steps are still going strong. I'll upload a video soon showing the wear.

No, had an unfortunate medical episode with one of my dogs, so I sold it to help cover some of those bills. Wish I could have kept her, such a neat camper.

@malekb5275 Yeah, I think they are quite the niche camper. Most people at RV camps would ask about it cause they had never seen one. I originally wanted a wolf pup black label, but the rpods offer a similar package for a better price. The 171 is also light, mine weighed around 1,700 lbs. If that's a good load for your Subaru, the teardrop shape will give you less air drag on the long trips.

Yes, was planning on making the area temp controlled for the sake of the PC. Unfortunately I have sold the camper since then, so who knows when I can attempt such a build again.

Thanks for the idea! Was unaware such screws existed, I'll keep them in mind. I now have a pair of roam cases up there that block access to the screws and the cases are also padlocked in place, so it should be pretty secure for now. 👍🏻

⁠@@wildindaveThe only other thing I can think of to improve your time is a more controlled launch. As fun as it is to peel out and screech the tires it can kill your time. Practice and figure out what RPM to rev and launch your car at and how much throttle you need to get the fasted launch possible without wheel spin.

@dr.pingas7148 I agree. Once I figure out how to launch it better, I'll do more proper time attacks. Maybe even go to the local strip to log legit times.

None taken, I held off for years getting these myself lol but yeah ended up getting them cause I was going to be living out of my jeep winter 2022 and my two dogs take up the whole back cab of the jeep. One case contains my kitchen setup like stove, skillets, propane tanks etc, while the other holds recovery gear such as yankum ropes, hitches, car jack, tools etc. And they were great for overlanding the great outdoors in Colorado.
