I still prefer CSGO, the old graphics just can't be beat CS2 looks like every other modern 5 v 5 competitive game bright and full of vibrant colors CSGO had that dark grimy look which added to the whole Terrorist Vs Counter Terrorist theme.

Just a note about Flashlights. Dynamic Shadows were added to Half-Life 2 as part of the Orange Box update in 2007. If you were to shine your flashlight on those crates in Half-Life 2 at the time Quake 4 came out, you wouldn't have seen those dynamic shadows cast.

Q4 was and still better.

Gaming peaked at half life 2. And crysis. And bf2. Its been downhill since then.. For example anyones phone could run half life 2. Far higher specs than my pc when i played it. But things are so badly calibrated now 4gb vram feels like 128kb

CS2 has no textures, and the textures are particularly poor. CSgo's graphics are more realistic, except for ray tracing.

I gotta be honest with you, playing L4D was way more scary than L4D2, especially when a tank spawns in or hearing a hunter in the distance. L4D2 is fun and all but it doesn't have the scary vibe like L4D did which made the game way more fun eventho it has less special infected zbs and lack of weapons.

L4d2 is better because you can play both games.

Also both games are Masterpiece no doubt about it.

Left 4 Dead 1 had always been more superior. It’s crazy. I thought I was the only one who noticed back in 2009. Wish it retained its fan base and player mass to this day, but if you have L4D2, you wouldn’t have to get L4D1. The sound effects of the guns are far better too! They feel more powerful in part 1.

In L4D2, they even brought back the L4D1 Map's since 2010, even the Special Infecteds like the Charger, Jockey & Spitter are in the L4D1 Map's as well, and when the Last Stand Update was released back in October 2020, The Zombie's & Special Infected (Hunter, Smoker, Boomer & Tank) are in their L4D1 Variants when you play the L4D1 Map's, Except "The Sacrifice".

Just my thoughts here, I think the reason these visual downgrades on features such as physics bodies probably due to how complicated physics is with reviving dead teammates. The bodies might fly somewhere else when the player attempts to revive them. They spawn where they initially died instead of where their body was. Instead of attempting to do something like fix an almost impossible thing because physics are calculated random and cannot predict physics. Just go with the normal death animation and just predict where the player is. That’s the idea I think why they removed the physics on player characters. Another about the first person legs is the issue being visual on looking down with shooting. Possibly distracting to testers and decision to remove it.

Ak spray, shooting in general and low skill movement with no 1:1 bhop with csgo is the ultimate reason for cs2 being an inferior game to csgo. Go had perfected mechanics, required no change at all. Go’s mechanics was goated. Cs2 has absolute garbage mechanics. Mechanics is what makes this game. Not smokes and beautiful water.

honestly I love the FPS model of L4d1 it feels more like a half life game. L4d2 is in this purgatory of Decent FPS model to Atrocious FPS weapon handling. Good thing TLS updat fix this but still I prefer the Goofy ass gun holding l4d1 have like any other FPS valve game.
