@NordicPlantLover I will remember to plant the sprouted giant kidney bean flat horizontally like you did instead of vertically. I actually got dried date fruit seeds to sprout but the plant was skinny like a jumbo Sprout and never formed a young date palm. Maybe they need a much stronger direct sun intensity? I don't have that kind of sun here in the northeastern United States.

Hi, thank you for watching. It has recovered, and adapted to the new pot. And is getting back on track. Nothing big has happened yet, but I can make a short little video were I share my current thoughts on it!

I am not sure actually 😅, if it works you will get lots of pines in the same spot, which may not be ideal.

Great tip. I am giving them some, and I have been leaning on doing it this way instead, but not sure if it is enough, and a bit scared of overdoing it. Do you add to every watering?

I use «Superba» from Nelson garden. It is actually for flowers and vegetables but works great on every plant i have. It is powder to mix with water. I use full dose in late spring and sommer, and halv in winter. I use it every time i water with no problems. But every other fertilizer for green plants is probably as good. I dont like fertilizing sticks because they need so much water to disolve. I personally think you should try it! Maybe try it out on just one plant and see.

I am using citrus soil. Not sure if it is the best tho 😊. It needs to be well drained, and with good nutrients.

Yes, the hot dry air in the winter is not ideal. They often get brown dry tips on the leaves, I think it makes that worse. You can try adding an air humidifier. And you are right, they need all light they can get in the winter 😊.

Good luck :). It can take very long time to germinate when planted straight in soil.

Recently I have been using citrus soil for everything. For good draining purposes. I am not sure it’s optimal tho, I should probably do some research induvidually for each tree. But it’s on my to do list 🤣. I have never even eaten guava, but now I wanna try! 😊

A noble purpose! I didn’t like avocados at first, but it grew on me 😊. Best is to combine it with other food. You can keep the tree small and still producing fruit by cutting it yearly at the right time before flowering. I saw a video explaining how a while back.

@@NordicPlantLover i see! Thank you! I’ve tried avocado a couple of times, my entire family would die by it, but it’s just makes my throat itchy and tastes sweet and mushy. Not my thing unfortunately but maybe if the tree fruits i’ll give it another try.

Yeah, it can be stressful. But has always given good result for me, when doing in the spring time. I have been adding fertz too, but a little scared to give too much. Yeah, I will be very careful with removing bad leaves again, sunburn is no fun! 😭

Woah, crazy temperature swings! I hope they are ok! I think they will be fine as long as it’s not below freezing 😊. I am planning on bringing this one outside during the summer this year.

Hi. It can pump a lot of water if you want. But it takes some tuning to get the water amount right. And for best result if you have a lot of mixed sunny/shady days, you probably wanna connect it to a soil moisture meter, which can be bought separatly.

@@NordicPlantLoverI really appreciate your effort, it must be very difficult to grow plant in Sweden climate. Have you ever tried to grow a date from seed? Or could you create a good environment for that in Sweden climate?

@Merve-wy4fu yes, some plants really dislike the long dark and dry winter. But we can try with lights and humidifier 😊. I have tried it once, but it was growing ver slowly, and just looked like a few straws of grass 😅.

Where I live, it most likely cannot. Because we can get -20c if it gets really bad. Maybe in southern most sweden, it can with some protection 😅
