And there are times stress just makes it worse for no reason. I totally get that.
Totally understand struggles with anxiety and panic attacks. There are certain things in books I have to avoid for the same reason.

Thank you for sharing your experiences with anxiety. I also suffer with it. I appreciate hearing how you handle it. I think sometimes it’s easy to forget God is there when you are in the thick of it so it’s encouraging to hear how He helped you. I read The Good Sister last year and it’s definitely anxiety inducing but very good 😊

Ooh! I liked the book you ultimately chose - not a favorite, but the mystery of it all and writing was intriguing. I think I had just read the Gilead series by Marilynne Robinson… if you like the married couple living outside of time, very character based story, without suspense or magical realism, you might enjoy those 😊

Yes!! I’ve used their Powersheets goal planners and Write the Word journals. This year I tried the Season by Season planner as an alternative to the Powersheets. I like it!

I want to read more from him! I totally forgot to mention that there were some twists that I enjoyed in this one. I just didn’t love it quite as much as I thought I would.
Read-aloud revival sounds so cool! Idk if theyll still be around by the time my child is old enough to homeschool but i hope they are, id love to do that!
I would recommend her podcast - it is also called read aloud revival! I don’t listen as much as I used to, but many years ago that is where I found her. She also wrote books - The Read-aloud Family and Teaching from Rest!
