Lightfall was really good!
Ooooh Vienna prelude!!! Love that series!
That’s great!! I’m looking forward to it!
That bookclub sounds so good!!!!
It is pretty great! She has great book lists for free and a podcast too!
I loved the inclusion of the homeschool books! 🥰
Oh, thank you thank you! I hoped it would be for someone. 😊🥰
Read-aloud revival sounds so cool! Idk if theyll still be around by the time my child is old enough to homeschool but i hope they are, id love to do that!
I would recommend her podcast - it is also called read aloud revival! I don’t listen as much as I used to, but many years ago that is where I found her. She also wrote books - The Read-aloud Family and Teaching from Rest!
New subscriber. Saw you in Chrissie's sprints ❤️
Yeah, A Time to Kill definitely has a really rough part right at the beginning to read. I read it 8+yrs ago and thought it was really good, though.
Love coming across fellow homeschooling mommas! We've homeschooled since our oldest (21 this fall) was 3.5yrs old. Currently have a 9th grader finishing up her school year, a 4th grader finishing up his year, and a 3.5yo doing light pre-K work. We're starting our new school year early this year because I'm due with our 5th in October and I wanna take a full month off when baby is born. ❤️
Welcome!! So glad you are here! I really think A Time to Kill would have been an excellent story. I was just shocked at the beginning.
Congratulations on the new baby! So wise to give yourself time in October!! 💕
Woohoooo sooo excited for this!!!
🫶🏼
Oh the Thoenes! It's been ages since I've read a book by them. When I was in a bookstore recently, I saw that some of their books have been published in Penguin Classics editions! 😮
Oh my! 😆 I had never even heard of them! Glad I found it though!
Yesss throw it in the cart, why not 💯
😂 Yes!! When in doubt, add to cart. 🛒
I am a huge Grisham fan! Please dont give up on him😂😂 A time to kill is his most traumatic book in my opinion It is not one I recommend 😢
I think you would enjoy The Testament by him or the Confession there are faith elements in both of those
Thank you so much for sharing! I won’t give up on him! 😊 The Testament has been on my radar!
I keep trying to read another Rachel Fordham, but I keep putting her off. 🙈 I just wanna love all her books, and I think I’m nervous! Lol
Yesss! I think that is part of my issue with sequels. Like, what if I’m disappointed? 🤣
Wait. Did I know you homeschooled??? I’m going to homeschool my girls next year 🥰
🥰 Aww, that is so exciting!! Can’t wait to chat all about it!
We love to see some Oklahoma ties 🙌🏻
Yesss! ❤️🥰
Peter Rabbit 🥹
I may have already said this, but have you read any Karen kingsbury? I think you’d love her!
You have! 🥰 I really need to!! Where should I start?? Give me your recommendations! 😊 Please 🤣
@@bethanysbookshelf start with the redemption series! It’s the absolute best!!!
Oh no, cellphones in the 80s isnt right lol! Goodreads failed you
