How much do these guns weigh?
Currently I am using Omer Stingray 3D Camu fins and I am about to buy the Fast 400. Is there any advice you can give me about fast 400 fins, even though I specialize in burrow hunting in 15m, and my weight is 100 kg and my height is 193 cm? I will be grateful to you for life. Please help me sir 🙏😭

@@Odabodab yup I already buy it c4 fast 400 hard. It's a big jump for me from plastic fins to carbon fins. I noticed the lightness of kicking with strong boost while diving and while rising to the surface of the water . They worth it 😉
what can you suggest for a 60 kg like me? can i use medium? Is it true the c4 indian camo and c4 fast 400 almost the same? cause im choosing between this two type of fins hope they were almost the same.

@@Odabodab not the same The fast 400 are better than the Indian because they not built from the same technology carbon . The Indian using an traditional c4 foot pocket but the fast using an c4 400 foot pocket (400 grams). I suggest you to use a soft blades 25 . Here's the c4 catalog about the thickness of c4 fast 400 : 55kg / soft blades 25 55-65kg/ soft blades 25 65-75 kg/ medium blades 30 Over 85 kg / hard blades 30/40 Have a good luck & good choice 👍 see ya soon

It would be interesting to see a real review of the technopolimer fin, there isn't one anywhere on youtube, or elsewhere, only some unboxing videos - it would make a great and unique video to finally put it to some real test!

These are modular and the main benefit over the Gara's is you can replace and upgrade the blades to C4 carbon fiber fins. Thanks for your comment!

Shooting line needs to be double for rollers
They are expensive for where they sit in the market and have little to no independent customer reviews online other than the design was flawed and the foot tore. It is a shame I'll have to look at more reliable products at that price point.
Do you own a pair? The design isn't flawed. It's the most comfortable C4 foot-pocket or freediving foot-pocket in the industry. they changed the rubber durometer after the first rubber and C4 USA guarantees them for two years!
@@MAVERICKAMERICANSPEARFISHINGCO Re read my comment, the only reviews I could find were negative where the foot pocket had ripped and were replaced because they were too thin. That is a design flaw. I didn't claim the design is flawed from personal experience or still is. It is a red flag when a business starts attacking a customer based on an observation. I live full time on a yacht so they would have weekly use at a minimum. Longevity of the product is a primary concern.

Great video thank you Mark, however you made an error at 4:00 as you didn't run around and over the spear to lock it down against the track. Of course if you don't run the shooting line this way on an open muzzle gun it won't be accurate and moreover the spear will simply fall out of position if it's inverted. Otherwise very helpful video! I did find that I could use the gun without the load assist or the bunny rabbit ear by picking up the wishbone with the other end of the loop on the further forward retainer (ahead of the reel mount), load to rear shark fin, then turn back over and position back closer to the handle. Less drag than the bunny ears :) However I do have the 95 so the longer versions of this gun may not be as easy to load in this manner. Overall, a great design by Salvimar and loving this gun! Thanks again

I appreciate the vid. But you didnt wrap the cable over spear tip and double wrap back to trigger release. I'm glad I can still wrap over tip but will have to replace cable if i want the extra 2m distance. What is advantage with the two rig options? I have the 115. You should mention this option first before someone else cuts there cable.
I still haven't crimped near the muzzle since i. Confused if i should wrap cable over shaft tip or like you have it? Salvimar has POOR instructions
@@patrickgraczynski6096 You can either do it by running the shooting line from the shaft under the front "horn" in the muzzle and back across the muzzle to go under - thereby holding your shaft DOWN - OR, you can do it how I did it and just leave it without wrapping it over the shaft. The reason is when the bands are tight the shaft will NOT MOVE either way.

Actually you'd be surprised. I'm normally European 46-47 (12.5 - 13US) and I wear the 44-45 and can fit fine into the 42-43. They run a full size larger.
Oh really a full size larger? For me as an euro 40-41 in shoes, would that be too big in this pocket size? I want to be able to wear at least 1.5mm sock in it.
They run a full size larger than the size marked on the foot pocket taking into account a neoprene stock up to 3mm. The best way to size is using the C4 foot- size chart for all their fin models

Just out of curiosity do you remember what time of the year or the watertemps when you bumped into whitey ? I’m down around lookout always figured when the bluefin were on the beach these guys weren’t far off but maybe it’s just a roll of the dice?
dont dive around the shoals Cape Fear or Lookout if you don't like sharks before May, you may just run across the man in the white suit otherwise. Track their movements (not all of them obvu=iously are tagged) on O-Search

@@fredrikastlid645 There's a video of the women's putting on freediving wetsuits, you can decide whether it's right or wrong. Most viewers like their technique because it's an extra challenge. As for the men's wetsuits, 25 years of wearing open cell neoprene wetsuits and always put the sleeves through first. Guess it does make sense once you think about it to put the hood through, adjust the head, and then the sleeves! Always learning something
