My theory is that although Gojo can slow down DIO with infinity as much as he wants, Dio's thought process, and by extension, his stand The World, go unaffected, Gojo's infinity is confirmed to be limited to physical attacks, any form of energy that doesn't take any sort of physical tangible form is immune. So question is now, is The World a physical tangible being? No. It isn't. Lemme explain, we learn in the introduction of Stands that they don't have physical presence, and are intangible to any non-stand actions, or the actions of stand users. Meaning someone like Gojo couldn't see or interact with The World. Despite The World being able to interact with him. But the obvious counter-arguement is that although yes, The World is not a physical tangible being for Gojo, it is very much so for DIO, as we see stands constantly grabbing, holding, encasing, and otherwise interacting with Stand users, and we know from evidence that more powerful Stands like Star Platinum and The World, have a sense of their own free will, due to their users having such high fighting spirit. With the main manifestation of this being self preservation, constantly blocking attacks the User didn't even know were there or couldn't think fast enough to react to. So now the question is, does The World being physical to DIO mean that if DIO is hit by infinity, that The World would suffer the same effects? Again, no. Although stands can be called physical to their users in some metaphorical sense, they lack any actual physical form even to the users, the times where stands are used to grab and transport users is not really a representation of the Stands physical presence as much as it is the users fighting spirit being used for a certain task, really the physical things Stands do are powered by the users mind. This isnt even mentioning timestop, which just negates infinity entirely, this doesnt even take into consideration the massive speed difference or durability. I like Gojo and all but beefing with a JoJos villain is a surefire way to lose to wackiness

there is SO many contradictions in this video, at 4:50 you use the example that if Jonathan and star platinum punched a wall Jonathan would do more damage so hes stronger, but HOW does this not apply to tusk act 4? if Jonathan and tusk both punched a wall, Jonathan would do a lot of damage but tusk would do infinite damage THEREFORE TUSK IS STRONGER. the greatest Jonathan feat in my opinion is the first fight against vampire Dio in the burning mansion. Dio was shown to be ripping off the policemen to shreds with his barehands after his transformation, yet Jonathan managed to tackle him through a brick wall and hold him in place to get him pierced by the statue. And that was without hamon too, just with gentlemanly rugby boxer muscles.

Everyone talks about how he is disadvantaged by not having a stand but the only other JoJo to have hamon is Joseph. Hamon basically made Johnathan the stand. In my mind that makes it fairly equal grounds. Stands are more tricky then they are powerful. The whole point of stands was to get away from the power scaling like dragon Ball. With that logic that means that Jonathan was scaling off the charts for power. Stands are powerful but again they are more tricky than anything else. Jonathan would be the super Saiyan of the JoJo's. All the others were essentially Goku in dragon Ball rather than Z. Needing specific techniques rather than unbelievable power to win.

Jonathan might be the strongest, but I don't think he'd be the one most likely to win in a fight. Maybe if he got a stand and had adequate levels of hax... I still think he loses to Joseph due to Joseph's raw -plot armor- ability to strategize.

personally joseph joestar is the strongest joestar since he knows how to use hamon, has a decent stand ability, blud literally was fighting vampires and krauts in ww2 at 18 then lost his best friend. he then go on an adventure with his grandson to fight Dio and lost 3 members of his respected team(avdol, kakyoin, and iggy) then at the diamond is unbreakable we see him became old without any past trauma or illness.
