I really bothers me when people with these Bushcraft kind of channels, with their dogs (mans best friend) and make some great dinner on the fire and eat it right in front of the dog, who is so patient and obviously asking for a piece. Animals generally dont ask for food unless they are hungry. Of course there are exceptions, but think of it like this, we usually eat 3 times a day to be full, have energy and fein off hunger pains. In the wild animals spend the entire time they are awake, looking for food for those same reasons, once they have done so, they are finally ready to rest, sleep, conserve energy so they can do it all again. So imagine if someone else was in charge of your food, and every day all you were given was 1 cup of dry cereal in the morning and 1 cup of the same at night. Even though it might sustain you, imagine 😂😂😂how hungry you would be when you smelled meat cooking? Because we are omnivores, we will eat just about anything , and the smell of food will trigger that hungry feeling. I can remember being in bed asleep when i was a child and waking up hungry because my mom would make would make my dad's dinner late at nite because of what time he got off work. I would come out and eat and go back to bed. Think about it. Maybe be a little more empathetic when your dog patienly looks at you while you eat your delicious piece of MEAT. Maybe make him a little piece of his own. Wild canines, such as wolves and coyotes dont hunt all day for corn and wheat, pumpkin and chicken by-products, which mean feathers, beaks, bone meal, etc. its just my opinion, and i thought i would share it. Im not saying you are a bad dog owner , im just saying dogs eat meat, thats what they were made to consume, maybe share a little, give him a little variety. Please dont give him raw chicken or pork though. I know alot of people nowadays give their cats and dogs raw meat, because wild animals eat it raw, but wild animals are full of parasites, tape worms, round worms, heart worms, etc, which takes years off of their lives. People at one time ate raw meat, dried meat, and they were full of the same parasites. There are reasons we cook meat, not just because it tastes good. So now yhat we have learned that life lesson, do the same for the animals in your life, not only that but the bones can splinter and pierce your animals, esophagus and intestines. Just passing along a little helpful info for anyone out there in CZcams land! Lol😉 ❤️🐶😺
