  • I tried a 24hr tropical beach camp out with no food and no water. The weather was super hot, making the challenge that little bit more challenging. I found various things which I wasn't able to identify, so please drop me a comment if you know what they are called.

    The feather belongs to the Indochinese Roller. The lesser known brother of the similar Indian Roller. Beautiful birds, but not that uncommon.

    Coconut crabs *are* a kind of hermit crab, so there's no good way to tell whether its one or the other until it gets to be larger. But no matter which they are, you can still safely eat them with just a few minutes cooking over the fire. You could even cook them in their own shells if you were feeling a tad macabre.

    If you hit the pointed end of a coconut on one of those big rocks, repeatedly, it will split the outer husk into 3 equal pieces. Go slowly so you don't expend a lot of energy. Just hit it hard and work slowly! You will be surprised how quickly it comes out. I learned this from a professional! (I watched a monkey do it!) He made it look so easy I had to try it! It is easy! That way, when you drink all the water, you can cut the shell in half and you've got a nice cup from the bottom half!

    Next time you get a fish stuck give it some line, let it get itself out then you stand a better chance of reeling it in.

    • @seafishinggirl
      @seafishinggirl Před 4 měsíci +1

      Yes or you could always cut your line and tie a float on the end for later retrievel

    If you hook a fish and it hides under a rock, don't force and try to reel it, instead of that just open and release the fishing line for about 15 mins. After that reel until your line is not slack anymore and then hook it again and dont stop reeling until you get the fish on land. Nice video and you are a very friendly person.👍🏻

    Hey Dustin just a little tip when you open a coconut do it from the bottom since that bottom side has lesser husk than the top you always open your coconut it will make it easier to open from the bottom. Try it and see if you find it easy for you

    yes it is indeed an almond we call its a bush almond
    Tropical Almond
    Native to the Queensland coast, the tree grows to 20 metres and produces green to red tapered pods from January to April. Inside is a single elongated almond which can be eaten raw. It has a crisp texture, nutty flavour and high ratio of oil. The pod casing makes good homes for rodents and sand crabs.

    No im more thinking it was more like a tropical almond it not really the same taste of a regular almond but its better than nothing and for safety roast it after you cracked it it will reduce the amount of toxins in the seed.
    on some variety have poison so just be safe.
    Better look it up on Google or some book.
    But from the tree that are on the video it tge same as a regular tropical almond,but just be safe and learn the plant thoroughly first😅😅😅
