Psychologically every person has his or her buttons, to trigger their violent side, And he knew that, and regardless he was triggering that violence within her, Probably, she didn’t know how to control her emotions and manage her anger, And there was a psychological pattern, in the boyfriend that he was getting satisfaction from that kind of abuse, So I would say that was the timebomb, in this relationship. He had many chances to move on, but he was getting satisfaction from this and chose to stay

No doubt his ridiculously twisted, evil mother amplified his early internal darkness, but a brewing socio-political storm (again, Hitler comes to mind) became an incubator for his extremist mindset to find delusional purpose and value. On a cautious note, Norway had gone so far into the extreme far left of wokism and political correctness, that many ordinary citizens began expressing frustration at this phenomena, giving rise to an extreme far right mindset that fostered and spawned evil lunatics like this one.

I was 16 when those horrific events happened, and that day is forever burnt in to my memory. I remember my dad and I sitting in the living room of our cabbin (it was really bad weather), when we got a phone from Oslo (about an hour and a half away). She told us there had been some kind of explosion in Oslo. We were really confused and caught of guard. As the rest of the day unfolded, we got more bits of information. It was so surreal and horryfing. I went to bed and during that night I heard a loud bang. It was thunder, but it really got my mind started wandering. The first thing I heard the following morning was how the number of casualties had went up from 5-10 to somehwere in the 70s (there was a lot of mixed/unconfirmed information the first hours) I couldn't almost believe. 21 years, WITH the possibility to extend the sentence. Also, he’s still in prison as at his last parole hearing he was denied. It’s all on his Wikipedia article, so no need to rage bait about him “possibly being out right now!!!!”.

Thank you for covering this story. It was a crazy day. And I remember it so well still even tho I wasn’t in Oslo, but my cousin lived there and was at work when the bomb went off. She’s luckily still here but the store was ruined. And also know someone personally that lost her sister at Utøya. ❤ that man needs to rot in hell. And hopefully he’ll never gets out cause he has said he’ll do it again. And also don’t understand why people would send him love letters. 🤢 he’s a sick sick man. Who doesn’t deserve to be loved. It’s a man we are allowed to hate for the crime he did. And for us in Norway it’s one of those things that will stick with us for the rest of our lives. We came together as a country when it had happen and we supported the people who lost someone and the people who got hurt but survived. ❤️

I don't understand the MOTHER here. If she hates him & didn't even WANT him, why fight to get custody?? And TWICE?? I feel so sad for that lost little boy whom no one loved.... Giving prisoners their own studio apartment plus doesn't help punish anyone. Where is the mental therapy he needs? How does this help his situation? It's like a slap in the face to everyone who lost someone to this maniac.

Norway needs to change its laws. Humane conditions should be for nonviolent offenders and people that have mitigating circumstances. This man deserves nothing. My heart goes out to all the families affected.

The sentence was 21 years but after that time there will be new trial (Norwegian law) and there is no possible way he will be out of the jail. A bit of a misinformation in a video.
