Pick up and repair concider not a complete lost

How do you set up the Spectrum DX8E for the correct use of a UMX Ultrix Bind & Fly plane complete with Safe & AS3X?. All the other models I 've ever bought had a transmitter with the models . This transmitter has more switches than I 've ever come across. The videos don't seem to help . Can you give me any help as I don't want to try flying it & have it crash .

He got lucky. Really, really lucky. A little more height, a little more rolling, a little more out of control and you would have re-kitted it. That is certainly repairable. Check that CG. It may be a little underpowered. I don't think Nick Ziroli models are light.

B-17, some very nice scale speed flying, our friends over the pond don't understand that concept, all about speed and size 👍.

Good to see models flying! Glad Telford are still going. My son and husband used to be regulars. Can't get there now but best to all in bmfa and lmao. Dave Bishop used to be the voice of the show. Hope is still going strong.

Never turn into a dead engine. Keep air speed with increasing other engines and avoid over banking turns. I got to fly on 909 with B - 24 Witchcraft off our wing. Took off right behind pilot’s seat then had access to every part but ball turret and tail gun. Tail wheel blocking rear fuselage access. Unlike B- 24 with no restrictions other than ball turret which is very confining anyway.

Incredible job flying in that wind! If I was on board I would have tossed my lunch. Also one awesome looking plane and awesome flying skills.

Apart from the engine noise, the perspective as it climbed out made it look like a real B.17 somewhat in the further distance. Well done.

Why no scale 3 blade props? Always such an embarassment for a mighty ww2 warbird with a big 3 or 4 blade prop to fly in RC with a puney piper cub prop. I know they make big 3 blade RC props....

It's a shame you couldn't do something with that mic problem. A wind sock might help...

Way too windy for flight to compromise that excellent build. I've always made it a rule to never fly with over (5mph) winds. It's paid off tremendously. Outstanding landing. And thanks for posting without music. Don't crash it guys. That sucker is so cool.

One heck of a crosswind!

Nice looking huge model and amazingly smooth landing, especially considering the blustery crosswind the pilot was flying in. Speaking of wind, I've always followed one simple rule which continues to serve me well: NEVER fly an RC model or drone in winds I wouldn't dare fly a real airplane in. Cheers from Thailand!

needs more engine power. not to make it fly, but to make it less sensitive to pilot error. if you had enough HP, you could have just powered your way out of that stall.

Once again nowhere near enough ground speed.
