30 RC planes in the air together! - BMFA Record Attempt - JMA Elvington - 14th May 2023

The BMFA held a UK wide mass attempt to break the record for the most model aircraft in the air at any one time.
The time of 12pm on Sunday 14th May 2023 was the target for this year, attempting to beat last years attempt.
At 12pm, all models in the air across the country were counted and registered for the BMFA. The JMA Elvington event stopped jet flying to partake in this. We officially achieved 28 models in the air to add to the nation-wide total… I am sure there was more than that, but they just didn’t register 😂

I can’t remember for sure but deffo the majority if not all were electric yes! But mainly for ease and speed as we were in the middle of a jet event and stopped only for this! Haha
